Abalance Client-Centered Counseling is a Group Private Practice with a team of mental health professionals trained in evidenced-based treatment. We use a unique and innovative client-centered approach to encourage each client to guide the discussion of each session in order to get the best results. We begin the appointment with a session preparation segment to allow a client to relax, intraspectively become aware of primary and secondary emotions, and to list the most important topics for them to share. From this brief process the therapist is able to validate the issues and stress of the client, before going into the research-based interventions to promote change. This collaboration is an important dynamic to a client-centered experience.
