I graduated from the University of Padova with a thesis on scene understanding and Situation Awareness in drivers. After graduation I moved to Boston to work with Dr. Alex Bowers on peripheral vision in people with visual disabilities. I then received an NIH grant to work at Northeastern University with Dr. Peter Bex in the Translational Vision Lab where I investigate contrast sensitivity in peripheral vision. I enjoy the challenges that research poses and I am passionate about data analysis and data visualization. Most of all, I appreciate when research leads to useful and tangible outcomes.
