The club was formed in 1849 with our first recorded match occurring in that year against Moorsley C.C. The club played in the North East Durham league between 1897 and 2019. The club has a proud record of holding the league championship on 22 occasions. In 2019 we became a founder member of the Durham & North East League. The club operates two senior teams in Division 3 and Divison 5,a mid Week XI, a Ladies Softball Team And Under 9's Juniors.
