Richard has been driving profitability in the medical device and biotech industry for over 25 years. Working in Asia, The United States and Europe he has gained extensive executive leadership, cross functional, M&A and full integration experience in companies ranging in size from "start up" to "Blue Chip" medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical companies with revenues in excess of $US 550 Million and with over 400 employees.
With a strong background in orthopaedics, spinal implants and medical devices, Richard has developed, led and executed accelerated growth and transformational change strategies in global medical device companies including BBraun, Stryker, Orthofix and ConvaTec. During his career, he has also gained significant complex medical device, pharmaceutical and cold chain distribution experience leading DKSH Healthcare in Hong Kong and Macau.
Elected to the Board of the Hong Kong Association for Pharmaceutical Industries (HKAPI) for three consecutive terms and recently joining the board of the Asia Transformation and Turnaround Association (ATTA), Richard has a passion for building businesses, shaping policy and developing people.
