Jorge Murillo

Jorge also grew up on the Date Palm Farm and was always surrounded by his father and brother who were in the landscape business. Jorge graduated in 2003 from University of California, Riverside with a BA in Sociology and had been working as a correctional officer upon graduation. When Juan and Mary decided to launch their own landscaping company he decided he would join the new family business. It was new to him but in the last few years he has learned quickly and his passion for landscape and construction has really increased value in our business and with our customers.

Juan Murillo

Juan's father worked in the fields and Juan grew up on a Date Farm as a child. Juans father also worked for a landscape company and he was able to get Juan a summer job there as a teenager. Juan spent many summers working in landscaping and that is where his experience and love for landscaping work began. In 2005, he graduated from University of California, Riverside with a BA in English Literature while also running operations at Leon's Landscaping. Juan has over 16+ years of experience and has sat in numerous board meetings in the valley to work on budgets, collaborate with city inspectors, and landscape architects.

Mary Murillo-Leon

Mary's first encounter in the landscaping business started as a child with her fathers landscaping business. She would accompany him to several work locations and to meetings with client. The eldest of four girls, he always wanted her and her sisters to know the hard work that went into the business so that they could in turn work hard in school. As an adolescent, during the winter and summer breaks, Mary was expected to plant annual flowers and in the hot summers, trimmed Mexican and California Fan Palms. In high school Mary took a liking to accounting and decided to get a major in administration and in 2006 graduated from University of California with a BS in Business Administration and an emphasis in Accounting. She relocated back to the valley to work with her father and helped him run the business. In addition to her BS, she gained an Associates Degree in Horticulture. Since then, Mary has gained over 18 years of experience and has worked with several HOAs and a variety of amazing homeowners in the valley. She has a passion for plants and loves to introduce her customers to the joy they bring into this world.
