JOHNSON ELBORNE - Key Persons
George has over 10 years' experience in the global commodities search business. Since starting his career in London in 2008, he's managed global businesses and has a successful track record building desks in both Europe and Asia. From 2012 to 2016 he was based in Singapore, where he became Managing Director for the global commodities practice at search firm Pemberton Stewart and in 2016 he moved back to Europe where he continued to expand their global presence. During his career he has placed over 150 front office commodity professionals at physical trading companies, investment banks, hedge funds, oil producers, utilities and brokerage firms. He holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Durham and lives at home with his wife and two boys. In his spare time he'll mostly be found on the golf course or the rugby pitch!
Tim started his career in executive search in 2010, successfully recruiting for front office desks across trading, sales and structuring within investment banks, hedge funds and trading firms for a range of asset classes. In late 2014 he took a break from the industry to co-manage a start-up retail business, where he successfully built and grew the company until 2018, before returning to the search industry with a focus on commodities. He holds a degree in Political Science from University of Leeds and enjoys spending time with family and friends with a love of good food.
