The Texas Tech University Libraries' system comprises University Library, Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library and the Architecture Library... The university offers a 1 credit-hour course (LIBR 1100) to convey effective library research methods and strategies for scholastic success. The Library also offers numerous workshops throughout the year on topics such as databases, managing citations, 3D printing and more... A key outcome of the Texas Tech-CR experience is the refinement and perfection of students' English. All academic instruction and student life activities at our Costa Rica satellite campus, as at any U.S. institution, are carried out in the English language. We focus especially on students' academic and professional fluency. Students prepare for the globalized workplace through total English immersion while on campus.
