Dr. Aaron Law graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He has been practicing since then in both private practice and at the Canadian Forces Base in Edmonton. Dr. Law provides all general dentistry services as well as Invisalign and sedation options. He is passionate about keeping up to date on the latest advances in the dental industry and looks forward to welcoming patients to an office where their care is his number one priority. In his spare time Dr. Law enjoys playing soccer, skiing and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Adrian Hofmann graduated from University College Cork Faculty of Dentistry. Prior he completed a Master of Science in Cell and Systems Biology and a double major in biochemistry and human biology graduating magna cum laude, at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Hofmann is committed to continual education and lifelong learning in order to provide the best care possible to his patients. He believes patient interaction is the most enjoyable part of dentistry and provides a relaxing environment for his patients ensuring that they have a safe, successful, and enjoyable visit. Dr. Hofmann has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and plans to further this interest with education into the delivery of Botox.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hofmann started dental health outreach programs in Ireland, reaching out to low income communities to provide oral health care. He enjoys spending time outside, gardening, hiking, camping and playing soccer.
Dr. Aliya Rajwani is passionate about dentistry and enjoys to provide quality services and education to all of her patients. She performs Invisalign® and other cosmetic procedures as well as restorative dentistry. Dr. Rajwani is great with the students and faculty of the University of Calgary and promotes a positive experience for both her patients and staff alike. By aligning to the Dental Choice set of Core Values, Dr. Rajwani is committed the quality patient care and creating super satisfied patients.
Dr. Amandeep Singh graduated from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Alberta, and now co-owns the West Edmonton Dental Choice office and takes pride in his team and practice. Dr. Singh's winning sense of humor will help to put you at ease, and in addition to his alignment to Our Core Values, will contribute to a positive experience for patients and staff alike. Dr. Singh performs general dentistry including restorations, dental surgery, prosthodontics (crown and bridge) and root canals. In addition to these services Dr. Singh is able to offer BOTOX® services, Invisalign® and Implant placement. Dr. Singh speaks English and Punjabi, and is accepting new patients to his practice.
Dr. Amin Datu completed his degree in dentistry at the University of Alberta and has over 25 years of experience providing all general dentistry services including wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy and Invisalign treatment. It is important to Dr. Datu to provide quality dentistry and welcome his patients to an office where their care is his number one priority. We are confident that his friendly and compassionate manner will create a comforting environment for all of his patients.
Dr. Andrea Piccoli moved to Canada from Argentina in 2003 and has been practicing general dentistry since 1992. She enjoys providing all general dentistry services including root canal therapy and Invisalign treatment. Dr. Piccoli is passionate about educating patients on their oral health and helping them make informed choices to maintain their smiles for life. Dr. Piccoli loves traveling, hiking and fitness and she is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Dr. Aitken earned his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) after earning his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Alberta Dental Association and College. Dr. Aitken regularly attends courses to improve his knowledge and the services he provides.
Dr. Aitken loves getting to know his patients and will take the time to understand your needs and concerns before discussing your options for treatment. Whether it's a simple cleaning or more extensive work, Dr. Aitken and his entire Vista Care Dental team share the common goal to treat you like family at every visit.
In his spare time, he enjoys sports, yard work, barbequing, camping, hiking, and spending time with his family. Dr. Aitken is excited to meet you and discuss your dental needs.
Dr. Damola Baiyere's interest in dentistry started in her elementary years, being the daughter of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr B, as she is fondly called by patients, strives to always apply the best version of herself and is very passionate about helping to create happy smiles. She offers all general dentistry services including wisdom teeth extractions and Invisalign. When she is not working, she loves to spend time watching movies with her husband. She also enjoys cooking, hanging out and window-shopping with her two daughters.
Dr. Daniel Bargrizan graduated from Griffith University in Australia after completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Dalhousie University. Dr. Bargrizan has quickly become a patient favorite since joining us in May 2019, with his passion for dentistry combined with outstanding chair side manner. He is also fluent in Persian. Dr. Bargrizan proudly offers all general dentistry services as well as implants and Invisalign. He also offers sedation options including oral and nitrous sedation to make make dental visits more comfortable.
When not in the office, Dr Bargrizan loves keeping busy with outdoor activities like skiing, tennis, golf and kayaking. He also loves traveling, and that is how he picked up scuba diving and has since become a PADI divemaster.
Dr. Kowalchuk was born and raised in Calgary. He attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating top of his class in 2006. Working in health centers and community clinics gave Dr. Kowalchuk experience with many diverse patients and procedures, and he learned how to help all different types of patients.
Dr. Kowalchuk takes pride in staying up to date on the latest developments in dentistry. He believes that it's important that he and his team are constantly developing their skills to take care of patients. He offers a range of general dental services and ensures that each person leaves with a plan in place to tackle their dental needs.
When not in the office, Dr. Kowalchuk can be found with his wife and seven children hiking, travelling or supporting several charitable and community organizations.
Dr. Emily Ervin - A University of Alberta graduate, Dr. Ervin has known she wanted to be a dentist since she was three years old. She understands that going to the dentist can often be challenging, and is committed to making the experience a positive one for all of her patients. She is friendly and compassionate, and takes the time to go through all treatment options, answer questions and develop custom treatment plans that fit each patient's unique needs.
Dr. Ervin is comfortable working with patients with complex medical needs. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including functional and esthetic restorative, endodontics, sedation, Invisalign, and surgical extractions including wisdom teeth. In her free time, Dr. Ervin is an avid reader, and loves to spend time outdoors and practice her nature photography.
Dr. Frank Szojka has been practicing dentistry since 1988, he is an alumni of the University of Alberta. Dr. Frank enjoys all areas of general dentistry and is known for creating long lasting relationships with his patients. He prides himself on investing time with patients to ensure each one of them is educated and provided with the best care possible. When not practicing dentistry you can find Dr. Frank relaxing with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors.
Dr. Zenith brings practical experience and personal attention to each one of his patients. Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Zenith graduated from the University of Alberta in 1981. That same year he started ZenithDental in the very same location it is today. Since then, Dr. Zenith has proudly served the needs of Edmonton's growing community. Dr. Zenith is happily married with four beautiful children and three wonderful grandchildren. In addition to
dentistry and spending time with his beloved family, Dr. Zenith is an avid photographer, supporter of the performing arts and Oilers fan.

Founder and CEO, Dr. Hans Herchen graduated from the University of Alberta School of Dentistry in 1989 and opened his first clinic in 1990. Recognizing how many dentists were burdened with the endless business details of running a clinic, he decided to find a way to build his group practice operations into a model that could be easily understood and replicated for success. This transformed his business from consumer dental offices into a scalable business to business model. Since opening the first clinic, Dr. Herchen and his team have grown Dental Choice to over 20 locations and have built one of the most successful practices in Western Canada.
Dr. Holly Gushue is a proud Albertan having grown up in Calgary and Airdrie. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of Lethbridge and continued studies in Chemistry at the University of Calgary before moving across the world to attend the Doctor of Dental Medicine program at the University of Sydney in Australia. During her studies, Dr. Gushue worked on multiple clinical rotations in several facilities, including a rotation with the Royal Flying Doctors Service, where she provided dental treatment to patients with limited access to care. She strives to provide the best quality care for her patients while making them feel comfortable and confident with their treatment, their overall oral health and their smile. She is happy to be back home in Calgary and enjoys spending time with her husband and son, snowboarding and playing golf.
Dr. Jason James enjoys to spend time listening and getting to know his patients. Doing a comprehensive exam and really getting to understand his patient is something that feels rewarding for him. Dr. James received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington, DC. Before traveling to the U.S. to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery; Dr. James attended the University of Alberta, completing both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health, Health Policy and Management. During this time he was also a starting corner-back for the Golden Bears Football team.
Dr. Jennifer Li received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan. It is her goal to provide a comfortable experience for all patients while building long term relationships with them. Dr. Li provides all general dentistry services including Invisalign and wisdom teeth extractions.
Dr. John Hart is committed to quality patient care and working with you to address your concerns. He provides all general dentistry services as well as, sedation options including IV sedation, difficult extractions including wisdom teeth, Botox services and implant placement. Dr. Hart also provides services to patients at local hospitals and places great importance in providing friendly and compassionate care in a comforting environment.
When not in the office he enjoys finding time to be outdoors golfing, hiking, biking and snowboarding.
Dr. Jona Szakacs was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery in London, Ontario at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. After graduation from dental school, he completed a one-year, postgraduate general practice residency program at the University of Alberta and has enjoyed living and working in the city of Edmonton ever since.
Dr. Szakacs provides a broad scope of services including Invisalign, therapeutic and esthetic Botox, select dental implant placement, wisdom tooth removal, molar endodontics and is certified in providing multiple methods of sedation including intravenous conscious sedation. He understands that visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience and prides himself in providing excellent clinical care with a gentle touch.
As a former wildland firefighter, Dr. Szakacs will tell you that there is no such thing as too much fresh air. When he is not at work you can find him playing tennis in Kinsmen Park, mountain biking in the river valley, or snowboarding and splitboarding in the mountains. He looks forward to meeting you and hopes to see you soon.
Dr. Kavisha Patel has been providing dentistry services to Alberta Communities since 2020 and is excited to have returned to Edmonton. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and strives to provide comprehensive dental care to all patients in a safe and comfortable environment. Dr. Patel and her team work to create a warm and welcoming environment for all patients including anxious patients and children. She offers sedation options as needed.
Outside of the office Dr. Patel enjoys spending tie with her husband and son, trying new recipes and hiking. She enjoys visiting the mountains and lakes.
Dr. Kristen Kezar was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She followed her interests in biomedical sciences and completed a four year degree in Physiology and Pharmacology before going on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the U of S. She moved to Edmonton in January with her fiancé Michael who is also a dentist, specializing in orthodontics, at the U of A.
Dr. Kezar believes in dental care being an inclusive and welcoming experience-because everyone deserves to have a smile they love! She takes a personalized approach to treating patients and enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry.
In her spare time, Kristen uses every free moment to visit, laugh and spend time with friends and family. She loves animals, especially her pup, Sherpa, as well as spending time outside, whether that's hiking, fishing, or a cool drink on a patio!
Dr. Ghotbizadeh has been practicing dentistry in Edmonton since 2018. She is passionate about dentistry and provides her patients with high quality dental care. At Dental Choice, Dr. Michelle provides patients with a wide range of dental services including restorations, dental surgery, prosthodontics (crown and bridge), root canals and Implant placement. Besides her professional work she enjoys hiking, baking and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Michelle is pleased to offer dental care in both English and Persian/Farsi.
Dr. Mirna Rizkallah focuses on providing quality dental work in a comfortable and caring environment. She is best described as a relationship builder, committed & conscientious person. She takes great pleasure in educating her patients on their oral health. Dr. Mirna is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and is a strong believer in staying up to date by taking courses and keeping abreast of the latest technologies that are available. Outside of the clinic, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing card games. Dr. Neetu Verma received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry but having been born and raised in Canada, she chose to return to Edmonton to begin her career.
Dr. Verma enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including crowns, veneers and root canal therapy and she is a certified Invisalign provider. She is committed to excellent patient care and spends time getting to know each of her patients, welcoming them to an office where their care is her number one priority.
She is very passionate about dentistry and looks forward to growing her practice at Londonderry Dental Choice.
Dr. Boyko earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan where he was recognized for his performance in Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Oral Medicine. He focuses on comprehensive care and enjoys educating patients about their dental health to help them make informed choices and maintain their smiles for lifetime. He is passionate about the outdoors and especially enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking or scrambling.
Dr. Raj Randhawa is a general dentist, born and raised in Edmonton. He received an Honours with Distinction B.Sc. in Chemistry, and then went on to complete his dental degree at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is committed and passionate about providing comprehensive dental care, and aims to keep his patients educated and informed about their treatment goals and decisions. In his spare time, Dr. Randhawa enjoys working out, exploring local Edmonton restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Shayan Hamzehi has completed his degree in dentistry with distinction from Griffith University in Australia after completing his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors from Ryerson University in Toronto. He continues to further his knowledge and skills through study and training. Dr. Hamzehi has interest in all areas of dentistry with special interest in crown and bridge, cosmetic dentistry and root canal therapy. He has a friendly and calm chair side manner and is great with patients who are anxious about oral care or treatment.
Dr. Shivani Verma received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University and chose to return to Edmonton to practice dentistry. She is described as friendly, caring and confident and interested in getting to know her patients. Dr. Verma and her skilled team focus on creating an atmosphere where patients won't be in a hurry to leave, our goal is for all appointments to be on time. She practices general dentistry and offers sedation dentistry as well. We are confident that her compassionate manner and well trained team will create a dental experience you will want to return to. Dr. Verma speaks English, Punjabi, and Hindi is accepting new patients.
Dr. Cheung, a native to Calgary, has been working in the dental field for over 10 years. Her journey commenced after she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology; when she began working as a sterilization technician and chairside assistant at a dental clinic. Dr. Cheung developed her passion for dentistry here and went on to pursue her dental hygiene degree in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia. After practicing as a dental hygienist for a few years, Dr. Cheung decided to return to school to become a dentist. She wanted to be able to do more for her patients.
Her journey took her on an adventure to Australia, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney. While studying dentistry, Dr. Cheung participated in extracurricular elective programs in endodontics and emergency dentistry. She also completed a rural placement where she served communities with limited access to dental care.
This is something that she wishes to continue in the future. Dr. Cheung enjoys all aspects of dentistry and most of all, she loves building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cheung's other passions are food and cooking. She enjoys travelling and spending time in the outdoors. Dr. Cheung recently welcomed a baby boy and loves spending time with him and her family.
