Dr. Janice M. Ridley, affectionately known as Dr. "J" is an educator, motivator, founder and facilitator for Soft Skills Made Simple. Dr. Ridley has spent over 25 years in program development and training, worked in both K-12 and higher education, authored several training workbooks, and speaker to many organizations. She is a lifelong student, having earned a Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) Oakland University, Master's Degree (Art of Teaching/Reading) Marygrove College, and a Doctoral Degree (Education/Leadership) Walden University. Dr. Ridley has been presenting interactive workshops since 1991 to diverse audiences including: small businesses government agencies public service providers professional groups teachers and higher learning institutions. Her expertise has proven to deliver training that is informative, engaging, motivating, interesting, fun and refreshing. This creates an environment conducive to learning and retention. She is passionate about solving people problems and employs her repertoire of knowledge to improve the work atmosphere of your organization. Dr. Ridley's goals are to provide services that assist any type of organization facilitate and sustain workplace atmospheres that ensure positive interpersonal relationships, enhance self-confidence, support personal growth, and promote healthy and productive work groups.
