Dan Goldschmidt

Dan Goldschmidt is Of Counsel to The Foster Group, PLLC. He grew up in Connecticut and earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Yale University. After law school, Dan clerked for a federal district judge in New York City. He spent the next several years in the litigation practices of two of the biggest global law firms in New York and in London. In that capacity, Dan developed insight into how large companies and other institutions handle claims brought against them. In the same vein, Dan has served as in-house counsel to two major multinational corporations. For the last several years, Dan has been a trailing military spouse, following his wife (a U.S. Air Force Captain) to Florida, Tokyo and Phoenix. During this time, Dan has sharpened and broadened his litigation skills, working for both large international and small boutique law firms. Dan, his wife, and their golden retriever Muji have recently relocated to New Hampshire, where they are fixing up an old farmhouse. In his spare time, Dan sings in a community choir and tries desperately to stay in shape. Dan is thrilled to bring the skills he has developed across a varied legal career to advocate for, and protect the rights of, hard-working employees who have been treated unfairly. Haley Carr

Haley Carr is an associate at The Foster Group, PLLC. She grew up in central Illinois and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Millikin University. After finishing her Philosophy degree, Haley sought a career that would enable her to put her critical thinking skills to work solving real-life problems. Her love of the outdoors drew her to Arizona, where she earned her law degree at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. After law school, Haley briefly practiced in the area of ERISA and Employee Benefits. She enjoyed the challenge that complex ERISA issues presented, but she found herself drawn to the more practical nature of employment law. People are really at the heart of every employment law case, and Haley takes great pleasure in advocating for her clients in such an important and foundational crossroads of their lives. Jeanette Chavez

Jeanette serves as Troy's Executive Assistant and is a paralegal in The Foster Group, PLLC. Jeanette's role covers a wide range of impactful decisions within the Firm and in the community. Having also been an HR professional before joining Troy, she is an educated and experienced resource for any employee relations issue.

Krista Karstens is the Director of Client Relationships at The Foster Group, PLLC. Krista strives to ensure that all clients receive top-notch and white-glove services from the beginning to end of their experience with The Foster Group. From the very first phone call to the conclusion of your matter, Krista will be there to answer questions, and provide the peace of mind you may need when going through a legal process. Milca Altamirano

Milca Altamirano is an employment associate at The Foster Group, PLLC. She was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. From an early age, she wanted a career where she could utilize her skills to aid those who were discriminated against or unjustly treated. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Gender & Womens' Studies and minored in Spanish and Pre-Law at the University of Arizona. She earned her law degree at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. While earning her law degree, she worked in the Workers' Right Clinic, the Federal Public Defender's Clinic, the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, and Southern Arizona Legal Aid where she practiced her legal writing and research skills and learned to develop legal strategies that best represented the client's goals and needs.

Montana Kint

Montana Kint serves as the Office Manager and a paralegal at The Foster Group, PLLC. Montana grew up in Phoenix and attended Grand Canyon University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and then went on to complete her Master of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Legal Studies. She assists our attorneys on cases, working diligently to make sure each of our clients is taken care of. While our clients experience open and frequent communication with their attorney, Montana is an additional liaison between the clients and our firm. In overseeing the administrative function of TFG, Montana maintains a seamless functionality so that all of our clients receive the best customer service in the most efficient and effective way. Troy P. Foster

With more than 20 years of legal experience and a fourth-generation Arizona native, Troy represents employees in disputes with their current or former employers. He is exclusively an employment lawyer and that has been his entire practice. Before becoming a lawyer, Troy was in the trenches as a Human Resources professional so he understands what employees are dealing with on the other side of the table. Similarly, Troy has represented large companies in defending employment claims; he understands what they are thinking and is one step ahead. He also clerked for a Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and served as the Editor-in-Chief of his law review.
