Alwin Chong

Associate Professor Alwin Chong is a Wakamin descendent from Far North Queensland, a respected Aboriginal leader and well known nationally for his advocacy and dedication to raising issues about Aboriginal health and health research. With over 40 years of experience, he is committed to researching, understanding, intervening and advocating for healthier Aboriginal communities. Alwin was the Lead Chief Investigator for the first Clinical Centre of Research Excellence (CCRE) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, and program leader for the Healthy Communities Program for the Lowitja Institute Cooperative Research Centre providing research, training for Indigenous health researchers, and developing innovative approaches to health care applied to support communities. He has also provided cultural and content expertise to health and social services reform for multiple states and territories and nationally. A recognised expert in ethical research with Aboriginal peoples, he has supported policy reform in Aboriginal health, including the establishment of Aboriginal community-controlled health services and peak bodies, and through Ministerial appointments to committees relating to child death review, Aboriginal health, child protection, and research ethics. Alwin has extensive networks with Aboriginal leaders, academics, policy makers, award-winning researchers, and communities. Alwin Chong has over 40 years' experience in leadership positions in government, Aboriginal community controlled and academic organisations. A Wakamin descendent from Far North Queensland, he is a well known and respected Aboriginal leader who advocates for and is committed to researching, understanding, intervening and advocating for healthier Aboriginal communities.

Amy Hall

Amy joined CEI with experience in a range of social and applied neuropsychological research areas. She previously worked on a study of mental health outcomes for injured armed services personnel where she gained insights into the opportunities and obstacles presented by large-scale longitudinal research. She then received a Marie-Curie Sklodowska fellowship to work in Germany at an applied research institute on the neurocognitive benefits of speech enhancement technology. At CEI, Amy has worked on feasibility, pilot, impact, implementation and process evaluations, as well as evidence synthesis, implementation support and exploring options for scale up of successful interventions. Amy leads projects measuring and understanding programme feasibility, fidelity, take-up, and engagement. She works across several delivery contexts including primary and secondary schools, youth organisations, and local government, and has a strong belief in the power of evidence to improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children and their families.

Anne-Marie Baan

Anne-Marie has a background in international development and has worked in a variety of evaluation and evidence-related roles in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. She has led on monitoring and evaluation for humanitarian and development programmes, as well as facilitated and supported programme design, including with UNICEF, Save the Children and Oxfam. Anne-Marie has an MA in Development Studies from the Radboud University (the Netherlands) and an MSc in Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford. For the latter she carried out a systematic review on the effectiveness of continuing education and training for the child welfare workforce. Anne-Marie brings extensive hands-on experience in leading and carrying out data collection in development and humanitarian contexts. Anne-Marie has a longstanding interest in finding ways to address barriers to evidence-based programming and promote better use of evidence. She joins the London CEI team from an advisory position at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, where she commissioned and oversaw a multi-country evaluation. At CEI, Anne-Marie manages a portfolio of implementation support projects.

Arild Bjørndal

Professor Arild Bjørndal is a Norwegian public health physician experienced in the promotion of evidence-based and user-centered practice in health and welfare services and public policymaking. Over the last three decades Arild has worked with the Cochrane Collaboration and the Campbell Collaboration in several different roles, including as co-chair of the Campbell Collaboration´s steering-group from 2007-2014. Between 2010 and 2021 he was CEO at the Centre for Child Mental Health in Oslo (RBUP), serving the south-east of Norway. He served as Professor of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo from 1996-2021, and in 2015-16 was a visiting scholar at Harvard University. Between 2004-2010 he was Medical Director at the National Knowledge Center for the Health Services which he co-founded (now part of the National Institute of Public Health), where he was also responsible for setting up the Norway National Electronic Library for Health. From 2002-2004 he was Director of the Knowledge Management Division at the Directorate for Health and Social Affairs, and in the 1990s, Arild was Head of Health Services Research at the National Institute of Public Health, later leading the Department of Community Medicine at the same institute. Arilds research interests include health services research, social medicine, quality improvement in health and social services, meditation-based interventions, and child mental health. He is the author of several medical textbooks and has published over 200 scientific articles. Professor Arild Bjørndal is a Norwegian public health physician with a health services research background. His main interest has been on how to improve public policymaking and health services through better use of research evidence and by offering users more influence over decisions important to them. He is particularly preoccupied by how to improve child wellbeing in whole populations.

Becca Dean

Becca is a doctoral researcher in the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex, studying the role of mental imagery in young people with depression. As a research assistant with CEI, Becca supports the evaluation of interventions for children and families, and data synthesis projects. Prior to this, Becca worked as a clinical research coordinator in the National Health Service, coordinating and collecting data for a portfolio of studies for mental health and neurodegenerative conditions. She has experience of systematic reviews and meta-analyses, having led an international team to conduct two Cochrane reviews. Becca is passionate about increasing stakeholder involvement and using research to improve the lives of young people and families.

Bianca Albers

Bianca Albers, PhD's research focuses on the usability and role of implementation strategies and frameworks as tools for guiding and structuring implementation practice and on strategies for building the capacity within health organisations and services to develop, implement and sustain research-supported interventions.

Caitlin Clymer

Caitlin Clymer is a researcher with experience in the fields of population health and social services. Over the past few years, Caitlin has contributed to a number of research projects involving vulnerable populations. Caitlin has over 5 years' experience working in clinical healthcare settings, both in Australia and internationally, which has enhanced her understanding of complex health systems in both rural and metropolitan areas. As a Research Assistant at CEI, Caitlin provides support on a range of evaluation projects designed to support young people with complex needs and those at risk of homelessness. Caitlin is involved in participant recruitment, data collection, analysis and synthesis. Caitlin holds a Master's degree in Global Health from the University of Sydney and a Master's in Public Health from the University of New South Wales. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University in the United States.

Cheryl Seah

Cheryl Seah, PhD, is a developmental psychologist and a researcher with expertise in the area of child development, childhood disorders, mental health, early intervention for children and families and implementation science. She has extensive knowledge and experience coordinating, supporting family-centred program design, as well as the implementation and management of large-scale evaluation projects, such as the 5-year KidSTART outcome evaluation. She has over 20 years experience gained in clinical practice and advocacy work that aims to improve the quality of lives for vulnerable children and families. She teaches early childhood educators on inclusion at Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS), and recently received the Singapore University Of Social Sciences (SUSS) Award For Teaching Excellence 2022. She leads the implementation work in the Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Cheryl has worked closely with teams from government agencies, social service agencies, foundations, hospital and University settings.

Chloe Ang

Chloe is a researcher with experience in behavioural science and childhood development. She has worked across both academic and consumer research contexts where she was involved in conducting research and translating it into actionable insights. She has worked on a variety of projects, including investigating the role of numerical cognition in children's sharing abilities, and applying behavioural insights to design a digital health app aimed at improving sleep. Prior to joining CEI, Chloe worked as a Foreign Service Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore, and in product development at a digital health start-up. As a Research Assistant at CEI, Chloe provides research support for projects across a range of sectors, including reviewing of literature, data collection, and developing research frameworks. She holds a Master's degree in Economic and Consumer Psychology from Leiden University, Netherlands and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Bath, UK.

Chloe Valleri

Chloe is an experienced practitioner and program manager, working in the social services sector throughout greater-Sydney area and Australia for over 8 years to support the safety and wellbeing of children, families and communities. Chloe has previously worked in the refugee and asylum seeker field, working alongside government partners and newly arrived families. She has provided frontline services within the domestic and family violence (DFV) sector providing women and families with support focused on safety planning and casework services. Chloe has evaluated and re-designed a Practice Framework that reflects evidence-based practices, licensing requirements and on-the-ground experience from practitioners in a national family reunification program. Most notably, Chloe has led the implementation of a pilot program that focused on engaging children in their education by addressing other barriers that the child and family are facing. She has supervised a team of practitioners whilst designing and implementing a Practice Framework for a newly designed pilot program in Western Sydney, NSW. Chloe is skilled in service delivery, practice development and implementation, coaching and developing and maintaining partnerships with government and non-government organisations. This has led to a thorough understanding of how evidence-based practices and local practitioner knowledge can support better outcomes for individuals and families. Chloe is passionate about supporting and empowering individuals to respond to injustices to create better opportunities and outcomes.

Courtney Alexander

As a research assistant at CEI, Courtney plays a vital role in projects that focus on implementing evidence-informed interventions in the social services setting. She is involved in supporting project coordination activities, managing stakeholder communications, as well as participant data collection, analysis, and synthesis. Prior to joining us, Courtney worked in both the health and university sector supporting Victoria's COVID-19 response. Courtney holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology and Human Geography. She has a particular interest in health policy and is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable populations.

Dina Bendicio

Dina Bendicio is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) both in Australia and the Philippines. She has strong and solid experience in Financial Accounting, Audit Management/Internal Audit and Credit Management gained from handling senior roles while working in various industries such as banking, manufacturing and aquaculture. At CEI, she is responsible for Audit Management and handles a range of activities including transactional processing and financial control. She works with the Senior Financial Accountant to ensure that accurate and timely financial reports are sent to senior management at the end of each month. Outside of work, she loves watching musicals with friends and enjoys swimming. She finds joy in public service hence working with children is aligned with what she deeply values.

Dr Anna Williamson

Dr Anna Williamson is a behavioural scientist with over 20 years' experience in health research and evaluation and high-level expertise in knowledge translation and implementation science. She has led the development and implementation of projects employing a range of methodologies including cohort studies, complex interventions, qualitative research, linked data analysis, evaluation and psychometrics. Much of her work has focussed on generating and translating the evidence needed to inform policies, programs and services designed to improve the wellbeing of people experiencing adversity. She has a special interest in mental health and social and emotional wellbeing and has conducted a large body of work in this area, including many projects conducted in partnership with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services. She also has high-level expertise in implementation science. Of note, she directed the Centre for Informing Policy in Health with Evidence from Research (CIPHER), an NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence which created a range of tools and methods now widely used internationally. Most recently, Anna led the Sax Institute's innovation function, developing new assets and services to further the Institute's mission of supporting the use of evidence in policies, programs, and services. Before joining the Institute, Anna was National Manager, Research and Evidence at a national mental health NGO. Anna is committed to supporting decision makers and services to use evidence to improve health and wellbeing and is pleased to be joining CEI in this work.

Dr Ellie Ott

Dr Ellie Ott has led research to improve the lives of children and families facing adversity across academia, government, and non-profit organisations. She is also a research methodologist focused on evidence synthesis and systematic reviews, mixed-methods research, and impact evaluations. Previously, Ellie managed research, knowledge exchange, impact evaluations, and systematic reviews around children's social care at the Rees Centre at the University of Oxford and led the Humanitarian Evidence Programme at Oxfam. She has a doctorate from the Centre for Evidence-Based Intervention at the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Rhodes Scholar. Dr Ott also holds an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford. Ellie has been a consultant to the UN Refugee Agency and previously worked as a research analyst and Truman-Albright Fellow in the US Department of Health and Human Services, improving research on children and families. At CEI, Ellie is based in the London office and is responsible for a portfolio of evaluation, research, and evidence synthesis projects, including those that seek to improve services and the lives of children with a social worker and separated migrant children. She is also a foster carer.

Emma Wills

Emma has a long-standing interest in improving mental health, and worked towards this in her last role as a business developer for an e-mental health platform, where she used business development and commercial research skills to help bring the Dutch platform to the U.K. Emma brings both an understanding of how to connect with and maintain relationships with stakeholders, and a passion for high quality research and evidence to make positive impacts in social and healthcare. She is working on a range of projects at CEI supporting data collection, analysis and write up phases. Emma has a background in psychological research, having worked in the University of Amsterdam's Developmental Psychology department. She has a Master's degree in Developmental and Health psychology.

Esther Goh

Esther Goh is an Early Childhood Development specialist with a breadth of experience across education, policymaking and philanthropy. Over the past ten years, Esther has taught kindergarten, worked for the government of Singapore and also supported the strategic development of early childhood policy and programmes from within an international philanthropic foundation. She has led the coordination and provision of technical assistance to government and strategic partners globally, through her role as a knowledge broker, bringing best practice to large scale policies and programmes. Beyond these roles, Esther has co-produced and directed a short film highlighting the work of maternal mental health paracounsellors within the Rohingya Refugee Camps in Bangladesh. In her role as Advisor at CEI, Esther will be supporting the work of the Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD), applying evidence in intervention design, contextualising elements of best practices and providing implementation support to service agencies to improve outcomes for young children and their families. She holds a Master's degree in International Comparative Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Melbourne.

Evelyn Tan

Evelyn Tan, PhD, is a psychologist and researcher with expertise in the area of child development and parenting. She has over ten years' experience working with vulnerable families and in research in the field of developmental psychology. Evelyn has a strong interest in the impact of parenting and early childhood education on later child development, as well as translation of such research into service delivery for prevention and intervention. She has led the coordination of evidence synthesis projects and worked closely with community stakeholders and government agencies to translate evidence into practice and policy and evaluate interventions. Beyond these roles, Evelyn has extensive experience in administering and assessing infant and preschool attachment and holds technical skills in quantitative statistical analyses. She is familiar with psychological assessments and has provided psychotherapy to at-risk families across both public and private sectors. As a Senior Advisor at CEI, Evelyn is supporting the work of the Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD), synthesising evidence from the literature and applying it in intervention design and implementation with community and government partners to improve outcomes for young children and their families. Evelyn holds a PhD in developmental psychology from Deakin University, Australia, and a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from La Trobe University, Australia.

Felicia Lee

As a Research Assistant at CEI, Felicia Lee supports the delivery of research projects through reviewing evidence, data analysis, synthesising findings and drafting evaluation reports. Felicia has previously worked with numerous not-for-profit organisations, and has contributed to the development and delivery of projects in the areas of mental health, public health and social justice. She is well-experienced in conducting literature reviews, obtaining data through administering surveys and interviews, performing statistical analyses, and report writing. Felicia has completed a Master's degree in Applied Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and Anthropology), from the University of Melbourne.

Gayatri Kembhavi-Tam

Gayatri Kembhavi-Tam, PhD, is a paediatric physical therapist with over 25 years of experience working with children and families, teaching and training, and supporting research and evaluation. Her areas of research interest and expertise include children and youth with disabilities, community inclusion and participation for people with special needs, interprofessional communication and collaboration, and qualitative and participatory research methods. Gayatri is passionate about working with community-based organisations to increase their use of evidence in programme delivery in order to deliver better services for the clients they support. Gayatri has lived and worked in Canada, the UK, and Asia, including in low-resource settings. Her work has covered a range of activities, including research and capacity-building. In her role as Director with CEI, Gayatri leads and supports programme evaluations, evidence synthesis projects, and the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative approaches to service delivery for children and families. Gayatri has a PhD from University College London (UK) with a focus on international development and disability, and a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta (Canada).

Geoff Hazell

Geoff is an experienced program manager and technical advisor with over 15 years' experience working both domestically in Australia and across Asia and the Pacific to support communities to respond to poverty and injustice. Geoff has experience working in the fields of domestic and family violence, supporting the self determination of Indigenous peoples, enabling youth leadership as well as responding to a breadth of human rights issues. This diversity of experiences gives him an understanding of the complexity of social injustice that enables him to support organisations and leaders to respond in ways that create safety, seek justice, and uphold dignity. He holds technical skills in community development; in program design, implementation, and evaluation; and has extensive experience in developing theory of change, practice frameworks and conceptual models that support better social and systemic responses to injustice. His passion is supporting people and communities to lead the responses to the injustices they experience.

Georgina Mann

Georgina has a long-standing interest in the use of evidence to inform better social policy and intervention and has worked in research across global health, mental health and education sectors. In her previous role, she was involved in the development of outcome monitoring and data systems in a national NHS child and adolescent mental health service. Prior to this, working in the international development sector she gained extensive experience in qualitative research, facilitating interviews and in promoting the uptake of research findings among practitioners and policy makers. In her role with CEI in London Georgina provides research support across many projects. Georgina has a multi-disciplinary academic background in the social sciences, with an MSc in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh, an MA in Global Health from the Sciences Po, Paris and a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.

Grace Chng

Grace Chng, PhD. is a quantitative researcher with a background in psychology and substantial experience in research and evaluation in the Singapore social sector. She has previously worked in research units in the higher education sector and in the government of Singapore. Her past research has mainly focused on vulnerable groups, with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests lie in the family, child and youth development. She is well-versed in longitudinal research studies; having been part of the set-up and implementation of national longitudinal studies with children and youth. She has led and managed high-profile projects with multiple stakeholders and is always seeking ways to translate findings into actionable insights. Additionally, she has been involved in designing research strategies over the medium term within the government; helping to scope, design and execute plans to support and path find for the social sector.

India Thompson

In her previous role at the NSPCC, India worked to embed participation, child safety online and trauma-informed practice across the organisation, at both a strategic and operational level. Irene McCallum

Jamie Rowland

Jamie is a research and evaluation professional with a background in frontline housing services. In his previous role as a researcher at Depaul UK he led a range of co-produced projects which aimed to improve service design and delivery for young people experiencing housing instability. Working as an Advisor at CEI in London, Jamie is utilizing his skillset in qualitative research on a range of projects. Building on his experience within frontline housing, his academic work explored the implementation of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. With an undergraduate degree in Sociology, Jamie completed his MRes in Social Science Research from Queens University Belfast.

Jane Lewis

Jane Lewis has been a key user of and advocate for evidence and implementation science in the UK for a number of years. Her earlier career was in evaluation and research dissemination before a combination of frustration and curiosity drove her into the warm embrace of implementation science. She was previously Head of UK Programme Development & Quality with Save The Children UK, leading on innovation, implementation, evaluation and scale-up strategies for SCUK's UK programmes and prior to that held the position of Director of Implementation Support at the Colebrooke Centre for Evidence and Implementation. Previous to that she ran Research in Practice, supporting evidence-informed practice in children's services in local government and NGOs. Her background is in research and evaluation: she led a research department at NatCen Social Research (one of the premier social policy research and evaluation centres in the UK) for many years, and then ran the research centre at the National Children's Bureau (one of the UK's leading NGOs in child and family services). As a member of CEI's leadership team, Jane leads our work programme and team in the UK and the rest of Europe as well as supporting our work in Australia and Singapore. She works across evaluation, evidence synthesis and active implementation support and relishes the opportunity to bring these together to improve services and support for children and families.

Janell Kwok

Janell holds a PhD in Psychology (Developmental Science) from the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom; as part of her doctoral training, she was hired as a Marie Curie Early-Stage Researcher funded by the European Commission to form international research networks. She also has a Master of Science in Clinical Neuropsychology (cum laude) from Leiden University, the Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Psychology and Communication (magna cum laude) from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, United States of America. Janell Kwok is a researcher with expertise in child development and clinical neuropsychology. She has over a decade of experience in psychological and clinical research in academic and healthcare sectors worldwide. Janell held roles in tertiary institutions which include international project management, curriculum development consultancy, and lecturing. Her additional experience includes planning and conducting workshops and focus groups, neurocognitive assessments across lifespan, and questionnaire development. She is well-versed in employing both quantitative and qualitative methods on data for best practice. As a Marie Curie research fellow, she has published in peer-reviewed psychological and medical journals. Joel Koh Jun Kai

Joel is qualitative researcher with experiences across the fields of public health, community development, mental health and the non-profit sector. In his prior work, he contributed to research projects around the fields of chronic disease management, asset-based community development and the non-profit/giving space at large. Through these projects he has accumulated numerous experiences in qualitative research, research design, and translating research evidence to usable insights for organisations. Joel is passionate about using these skills and experiences to encourage organisations to emphasise intentionality and evidence-driven planning in their programmes and initiatives. At CEI, Joel is the project manager for the KidSTART outcome evaluation, working with key stakeholders to translate the research evidence to improve service delivery and practice. He is also working with several other partners to understand their impact on the populations they serve. Joel hopes to use this passion and his experience to support the work at CEI, helping organisations uncover and implement effective interventions for the individuals they serve. Professor Niki Ellis is an occupational physician and a public health physician. After two years in clinical roles as a junior doctor she moved into public health policy and strategy roles for a decade: first with the Tasmanian Department of Health and then with the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission. The next ten years were spent in the private sector, building up a strategic health consultancy across the Eastern seaboard of Australia, which she sold to PricewaterhouseCoopers. Niki has always had an interest in evidence-based health care, but her work in implementation science began in the UK, where she worked on health services innovation at London South Bank University and the Department of Health in the early 2000s. She returned from the UK to take up a chair at the University of Queensland. In this role she led the establishment of the Centre for Military and Veterans' Health, a joint venture between the Departments of Defence, Veterans' Affairs and UQ, University of Adelaide and Charles Darwin University. After five years she moved to Melbourne and Monash University where she was the foundation professor and CEO of the Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research. This Institute, along with another, was awarded, for Monash University, the prestigious Ashley Goldsworthy award for engagement with industry by a university in 2012. ISCRR was also invited to present its collaborative research model at the National Health and Medical Research Council's first meeting of its Research Translation Faculty, as a case study. Niki has retained an adjunct appointment at the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash. In recent years she has extended her interests to include the practical application of collective impact theory to work disability, and the emerging field of measuring social impact. Niki has had several opportunities to work with one of the leading futurists of the world, Professor Sohail Inayatullah. Specifically on the development of plausible futures in military and veterans health, workplace health and safety, Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander health and optometry. In addition to joining the board for the Centre for Evidence and Implementation, Niki is a non-executive director for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, SuperFriend and DrinkWise; and is a member of the advisory board for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science at Bond University. She is also the Work for Health Advisor to Comcare. Niki has been on the Centre for Evidence and Implementation Board since 2019.

Paul Ronalds is one of Australia's leading voices on poverty eradication and international development. Paul has been the Chief Executive Officer of Save the Children Australia since July 2013. Prior to joining Save the Children, Paul was First Assistant Secretary responsible for the Office of Work and Family in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. In this role, Paul provided advice to the Prime Minister of Australia on a broad range of social and economic policies designed to support families and communities. In the NGO sector, Paul worked for World Vision Australia as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Director of Strategy. He was also Chief Operating Officer of Urban Seed, an innovative and dynamic NGO that provides a range of services to marginalised people in Melbourne's inner city. Paul has worked as a corporate lawyer with international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, and is the co-founder of wishlist.com.au, one of Australia's most successful e-commerce companies.

Peter Hodgson is currently a director of several public companies and, until late 2016, was the Chief Executive Officer of The Myer Family Company - a privately-held investment and wealth management business with offices in four states. Until 2008, Peter worked with ANZ in senior roles including Group Managing Director Institutional, Chief Risk Officer and Head of Structured Finance. Prior to returning to Australia in 1997, Peter had been working in advisory and structured finance in the United Kingdom, Asia and the US, variously at Bank of America and BZW. Rod Glover is an independent economics and strategy consultant, advising governments in Australia and globally on innovation and entrepreneurship policy. He has extensive experience in public policy, including as a Deputy Secretary in the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet, as Senior Adviser to an Australian Prime Minister, and with Melbourne Business School and the Australian Treasury. His executive education has been in public leadership, economic development, collaboration and platform strategy. Rod sits on the Advisory Board of the Monash Sustainable Development Institute. He was previously a director of the Victorian Government's Centre of Excellence in Intervention and Prevention Science and a member of the Australian Government's National Sustainability Council.
