Keshab Bhattacherjee

Keshab Bhattacherjee was born on 4 th January, 1953. His father, late Basudev Bhattacherjee was the Headmaster of Nimta Higher Secondary School, Nimta & he achieved the Award on Teacher's Day from the Government of West Bengal. Keshab Bhattacherjee passed his Higher Secondary Examination from Nimta Higher Secondary School & B.Sc from St. Paul's College. He also acquired the B.A.(Special) Degree. He then obtained the L.L.B degree from Surendranath Law College under University of Calcutta. He then started practicing in Calcutta High Court from the year 1984 till present. At a time, he was in the post of Senior Government Advocate. At present, he is the Advocate of Calcutta High Court, mainly Writ Petition relating to Matters [Service, Education, Co-operative, Panchayet , Municipality & Land] as well as Civil Cases. He also appeares in Criminal Cases. Clients, Colleagues, General Publics praise him for his bold Arguments. Judgements in a good number of cases where Mr. Bhattacherjee appeared are reported in different Law Journals including All India Reporter (AIR), Calcutta Weekly Notes (CWN), Calcutta Law Journal (C L J), Calcutta High Court Notes (CHN), Calcutta Law Times (CLT). Mr. Bhattacherjee appeared in a good no. of cases before the Honourable High Court at Calcutta against the Central Government's heinous & naked conspiracy against Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose by not declassifying thousands of files lying in different countries & also in the custody of the Indian Government relating to disappearance of Netaji. Mr. Bhattacherjee also participated as a Lawyer in the Justice Mukherjee Commission of Inquiry (JMCI), constituted on 14 th May 1999, by the then Government of India to enquire into the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He (Mr. Bhattacherjee) also paid visit to Taipei Airport & other places in Taiwan, Bangkok, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Omsk & Irkutsk cities in Siberia with the Justice Mukherjee Commission in course of the enquiry. Based on extensive research on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose & his vast experience in participating in Justice Mukherjee Commission as an Advocate, he wrote the celebrated book in Bengali, namely, CHAKRABYUHEY NETAJI, which has been and is being sold like hot-cake. Already ten thousand copies of the book, containing 736 pages, are sold. The book is being translated in different languages. Within a very short span of time, the English version of the book is going to be published. The second volume the book "Chakrabyuhey Netaji" is expected to be published shortly.
