BREATHE EASY OXYGEN - Key Persons
Founder Shelby Hawkins is a Roaring Fork Valley local who saw an unfulfilled niche in the market for private oxygen services in Aspen. With more than 10 years experience in a variety of health-care settings including hospice, oncology, ICU, ER, neuro trauma, and ski patrol, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our organization. He is also trained as an end-of-life doula through the International End of Life Doula Association.
Shelby has spent the last few years working with those in ailing physical condition or nearing end of life through private care services and bringing oxygen therapy to many of his patients to improve their condition, lifestyle and comfort.
He realized the benefits of oxygen therapy at 8,000 feet, and entered the market from the perspective as a caregiver first - and so Breathe Easy Oxygen was born.
