HFS-Tax is a new business owned by J Scott Hill. While it is new, it is an extension of a family business that has been doing taxes for over 50 years. In 1965, Jo Ann Hill bought the franchise of a major national tax preparation service. Running seven offices, Scott grew up in this business. Tax season has always been an important time of year, and now he is happy to help people avoid the stress of paying taxes. Scott has been preparing taxes for 5 years and participates regularly in tax courses to keep up on the latest laws and practices. He has access to several accountants, enrolled agents, and CPAs to resolve the most complex tax questions. As a registered tax preparer with the IRS he can represent clients in case of an audit. He also participates in a program through Protection Plus that provides IRS and State audit assistance as well as complete identity theft restoration services for all clients.
