LITTLE MOUNTAIN - Key Persons

Jen Hill

Jen Hill has been in the field of education for over twenty years. She began her career as a program leader with Multnomah County's Outdoor School, which developed her inspiration for the learning found in nature. She soon went on to earn a Masters of Arts in Education from Lewis & Clark College and teaching credentials in both Oregon and California. She taught grades K-6 in public schools for 15 years before opening Little Mountain Preschool when her own children reached preschool age. She has since been transformed by her love for preschool and the magic of early childhood. She understands that the early years are critical for developing a love of learning and strong social-emotional skills, which are key components for resilient and successful children. Jen also holds an SEL Foundations Certificate from Breathe for Change, which allows her to share social-emotional learning strategies and mindful movement practices with parents and the community. She is also a Wonderled Certified educator.
