Iain McShane

Iain graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Podiatry with Distinction and was the recipient of a number of academic awards including membership to the University Health Science Faculty Scholars Program. Iain thrives on giving people relief from their foot pain from a simple corn, or nail surgery, to more complex ankle and foot issues. Iain also has a keen interest in the effects of diabetes on foot health that was established while treating clients within the John Hunter Hospital High Risk foot clinic. Iain prides himself on remaining up to date with the latest clinical advancements and treatment options through continual learning and undertaking professional development programs.

Lauren Eccles

After graduating from The University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Podiatry, Lauren returned to her home town of Scone to practice before joining the team hear at Port Stephens Podiatry. Having a passion for rural communities, Lauren brings with her a wide scope of clinical podiatry experience with a special interest in wound care. Dedicated to providing the highest level of care Lauren also has volunteered her time to rural podiatry outreach programs for indigenous and disability relief camps. With a love of sport Lauren has represented both state and local levels in netball, soccer, athletics and cricket. This combined with her experience as a shoe fitting specialist at Athletes Foot has given her valuable insights to the sports related biomechanical issues how to best treat them.
