Damon Duncan

Mr. Duncan has over 27 years of experience in affordable housing. He is the principal owner of Clesia Ventures, a minority owned real estate development and affordable housing consulting firm specializing in mixed-finance, mixed-use, elderly and multi-family development. Damon also serves as the president of Fox River Affordable Housing Corporation where he oversees the development efforts of the Housing Authority of Elgin, IL. Over the span of his career, Damon has closed numerous transactions of affordable housing utilizing HUD programs that include, Rental Assistance Demonstration, Capital Fund Recovery Grants and HOPE VI. As either a consultant or an employee, Damon has worked with the Detroit Housing Commission, Pontiac (MI) Housing Commission, Flint (MI) Housing Commission, Atlanta Housing Authority, White Plains Housing Authority, Alexandria (LA) Housing Authority, Housing Authority of Elgin (IL), Waukegan (IL) Housing Authority, Wilmington (DE) Housing Authority, Deerfield Beach (FL) Housing Authority, Ypsilanti (MI) Housing Commission, Romulus (MI) Housing Commission, Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers (NY) and Inkster (MI) Housing Commission. Damon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. He earned a Master in Public Administration degree from Central Michigan University and a Master in Real Estate Development from Auburn University.

Katie Oatsvall

Ms. Oatsvall is the President & CEO of the Metro Tulsa Meals on Wheels whose mission is to provide nutritious meals, wellness checks, and caring contact to elderly, disabled homebound, and others in Tulsa and surrounding areas. The focus is on providing the support its seniors need to extend their independence and health as they age.

Tim Mahone

Mr. Mahone is the president and founder of Mahone Strategies, a public affairs firm offering government relations, civic and community engagement, corporate communications, crisis communications, and public relations services. He provides a wide range of intergovernmental relations and constituent outreach services. He is also on the board of The Mary Lou & Arthur F. Mahone Fund whose goal is reducing the financial barriers impacting college access and affordability for many first-generation students continues. Prior to starting his firm, he served as the State Political director for President Obama in 2008, the State Political director for Governor Jim Doyle in 2006 and as Southeast Regional director for Governor Jim Doyle. Tim Mahone is a native of Kenosha and a graduate of Marquette University where he received his BA in Communications.
