CHETAN POUDEL

I am a biophysicist interested in using quantitative microscopy methods to study cellular processes and disease mechanisms. I am currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Washington in the lab of Dr. Joshua Vaughan in Chemistry. I enjoy custom-building microscopes, extracting quantitative information from image analysis tools, designing bioimaging experiments, and training users in microscopy... I did my PhD in the Laser Analytics Group (https://laser.ceb.cam.ac.uk/) and the Molecular Neurosciences Group (https://www.ceb-mng.org/) at the University of Cambridge where I collaborated with physicists, neuroscientists and biologists to develop microscopy techniques. I was also a visiting researcher at the Medical Research Council - Cancer Unit in Cambridge studying NADH metabolism...
