Writing has been a constant and central theme throughout my long career spanning engineering, consulting, IT Service Management and project management. Over the years I've generated a huge number of documents for my various employers and clients, including software descriptions, technical reports, operational procedures manuals, process flowcharts and descriptions, user guides, proposals, problem investigation reports (PIR), monthly service reports, technical contract annexes - the list goes on. As a manager I was also responsible for the output of my team members and so proof-reading was another essential skill acquired along the way.
