I was born into a large successful family of sewers in June of 1994. It all started with my grandfather, Bill Floyd. Back in 1948 he started servicing sewing machines. Everyone I know says he has a genius mechanical mind. Fortunately my father and I received that same trait. My father, Ernie Floyd, taught me the basics of how a sewing machine operates. Consisting of how to set tensions, check hook timing and effectively test the machine to assure it operates correctly. Soon after I found a deep passion for these machines. I quickly learned the ins and outs of any sewing machine. I wanted to expand my knowledge and make it something worth living for. I have been to many certified training classes to gain that knowledge. Now, after 13 years of continuous work I am able to repair all makes and models of home sewing, embroidery and quilting machines.
