Aurelia Lureau is currently a PhD student in Archaeology and New Technologies at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France, and at the Università degli Studi di Siena, Italy. She earned her Masters Degree in Archaeology at the Sorbonne, after completing two BA in the study of languages, civilization and law. She is involved in numerous projects in France and Italy, and will be responsible for GDHs projects in France. Her work at GDH includes photogrammetry, long and short range laser scanning, drones, topography, 3D post-processing and 3D presentation for the public. She believes in open-source software, data sharing and FabLabs transformed in ArchaeoLabs.
Bart Mcleod earned an MA degree in Applied Anthropology with a concentration in Cultural Resource Management from the University of South Florida (USF). His primary research interests include the application of geospatial and imaging technologies for digital cultural heritage, with a focus on terrestrial laser scanning, GPS mapping, Photogrammetry, and Immersive Photography. For more than a decade he has worked as a project archaeologist for private archaeology firms and most recently as a GIS Analyst and Research Scientist for the University of South Florida before joining the GDH staff. Bart has led or been involved in field projects throughout the United States, as well as in Guatemala, Mexico, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, and Armenia. His areas of expertise include collecting and processing terrestrial laser scanner and photogrammetry data, GPS mapping for GIS applications, and project management and support. Bart is a proficient user of FARO SCENE, Bentley Pointools, Arcmap and Geomagic. Additionally, he is a strong supporter of using open source software for digital heritage and routinely uses Cloudcompare, Meshlab, and QGIS for GDH projects.

Dr. Herbert Maschner is President and Chief Scientist of Global Digital Heritage, Inc. Formerly he was Executive Director of Center for Virtualization and Applied Spatial Technologies (CVAST) at the University of South Florida (2015-2017) and before that, Director of the Idaho Museum of Natural History (2008-2015). He is a retired Professor, having held tenured Professorships in the USF Department of Anthropology and the School of Geosciences, and in Anthropology at Idaho State University. He serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journals Digital Applications in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage and Science and Technology of Archaeological Research (STAR); He is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
The recipient of over 13 million in grants, including PI on $5.9 million from the National Science Foundation, he has published 2 monographs, 9 edited books, 110 articles, chapters, and reviews, and presented over 200 conference papers with abstracts. Research areas include virtualization, visualization, informatics, 3D scanning, and public science; the creation of digital research infrastructures that transcend humanities, physical, natural, and social sciences; digital heritage, digital humanities, museum and research informatics, and digital natural history at regional and global scales. Other research interests in human biocomplexity and the environment, resource and community sustainability, long-term human impacts and interactions with marine ecosystems, fisheries, ocean modeling, and human ecosystem engineering. Theoretical specialties in evolutionary psychology, warfare and inequality, global historical ecologies, public education and the democratization of science, and virtual museums and repositories. Methodological interests in 3D imaging, digital heritage, and database construction, elemental and isotopic analyses, geographic information systems, social networks, and complex systems analysis. Primary field research areas are the Arctic, Western North America, and the Mediterranean.

Dr. Victor Lopez-Menchero Bendicho is the Scientific Director for GDH in Spain. Dr. Lopez has a degree in History and a European PhD in Archaeology. His research in recent years has focused on the integrated management of archaeological heritage and digital archaeology. In the last ten years he has participated as speaker in more than sixty national and international conferences, seminars, workshops and courses. He has been academic secretary of various conferences and workshops, including the seven editions of the International Congress of Graphic Archaeology and Informatics, Cultural Heritage and Innovation (ARQUEOLOGICA 2.0) and the two editions of the International Congress of musealization and enhancement of Cultural Heritage (LEGATUM 2.0). He is co-editor of the Spanish version of the London Charter and coordinator of the Seville Principles (International Principles of Virtual Archaeology). Until 2015 he has been co-director of the international scientific journal Virtual Archaeology Review (VAR).
Dr. Lopez-Menchero Bendicho is the author of more than fifty scientific publications and has worked on numerous research projects. Highlights include his continued participation in the projects of Sus-Tekna (Morocco), the Network of Excellence "Virtual Museum Transnational Network" (funded by the European Union under the 7th Framework Programme, FP7-ICT-2009-6) and the "Initial Training Network for Digital Cultural Heritage: Projecting our Past to the Future" (funded by the European Union under the 7th Framework Programme, FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN). He is currently President of the Spanish Society of Virtual Archaeology (SEAV), member of the Board of ICOMOS Spain, collaborator of the Laboratory of Archaeology, Heritage and Emerging Technologies (LAPTE) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, director of excavations at the archaeological site of Piédrola (Alcázar de San Juan) and member of Center for Studies of Virtual Archaeology at the University of Murcia.

mmanuelle Collado has MA degrees in Cultural Heritage and New Technologies (specialty 3D computer graphics applied to Archaeology), and in the Archaeology of Mediterranean Civilizations from the University of Poitiers (France). She developed her knowledge of 3D in archaeology with the CNRS Archeovision laboratory in Bordeaux, France, as a 3D designer for several different archaeological projects. She is a specialist in photography (diploma for professional photography in 2015), photogrammetry (digitization of caves, bunker, castles, excavations, megalithic monuments), and is a licensed UAV pilot (Diploma in 2016). She has research experience with Egyptian civilization and ceramics, and has worked on archaeological projects in Egypt and Israel. Emmanuelle is currently working in archaeology as a 2D and 3D designer, photographer and drone pilot. She is a strong advocate for the digitization of cultural heritage, and will work as long as it will take to obtain excellent results.
Jeffrey Du Vernay holds a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology from the University of South Florida, and has nearly a decade of work experience in the world of 3D technologies and cultural heritage. He has contributed to 3D cultural heritage research projects at diverse locations around the world including in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guatemala, Mexico, Armenia, France, Spain, and Italy. Jeff specializes in a variety of 3D data collection techniques including Terrestrial Laser Scanning, close-range 3D scanning, and photogrammetry, and he has applied these 3D documentation methods in both museum and archaeological site landscape settings. He also specializes in 360˚ imaging and virtual tour creation. Jeff is skilled in a number of software applications including FARO SCENE, Geomagic Wrap, Meshlab, CloudCompare, Bentley Pointools and Context Capture, Reality Capture, Arena4D, Agisoft Photoscan, Pix4D, Autodesk Recap Pro, Kolor Panotour Pro and others.

Matthew Vincent has been digging in the dirt since 2004 when he got his first taste of archaeology in Jordan. Soon thereafter, he began mixing another passion into archaeology: technology. Beginning with a focus on GIS in archaeology, he began to work on photogrammetry, laser scanning, and immersive visualization. In 2014 Matthew joined the Initial Training Network for Digital Cultural Heritage, a Marie Sklowdowska-Curie Actions program focused on holistic approaches to cultural heritage using technology. In 2015, he founded Rekri (formerly Project Mosul) with fellow researcher Chance Coughenour. At GDH, Matthew assists with European projects, helping to coordinate those while also working on continued research in crowdsourcing through Rekrei, cultural heritage data platforms related to GDH work in Europe, streamlining data acquisition and processing, and innovative forms of 3D data dissemination. Michele True has over 20 years' experience in marketing and management, first for the Nielsen Company and then in radio and newspapers. Today she is an author, breeder of rare canines, and the Financial Administrator for GDH.
Miguel Ángel is a professional archaeologist and holds degrees in Geography and History from the Complutense University of Madrid, and PhD from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) with a Doctoral Thesis on restoration of built heritage. He is secretary of the Spanish Association of Medieval Archeology, member of the Editorial Committee of the magazine "Boletín de Arqueología Medieval Española," and is part of the research teams of Global Digital Heritage (USA), of the Archaeological Research Center of the Isthmus-El Caño Foundation (Panama), and of the Archeology Laboratory, Heritage and Emerging Technologies of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). Miguel Ángel specializes in the development and application of techniques of prospecting, excavation and archaeological documentation, in the study of traditional and historical construction materials and techniques, and in conservation and restoration of the built heritage. He has directed or participated in research projects related to cultural heritage in Spain, Italy, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates and Panama.
Myriam van Walsum earned her BA degree in Archaeology at Leiden University (The Netherlands) and a MSc degree in Palaeoanthropology at University College London (UK). Her work at GDH consists of close range laser scanning of cultural heritage and natural history objects and sites, and subsequent post-processing, segmentation, texturing and rendering. Her specialties include human evolution, osteology and microCT scan processing.

Vincent Meijer is a software developer with a background in archaeology. For his MA Comparative Art & Archaeology at University College London he researched the distribution of Polynesian rock art through space and time. His main focus at GDH is creating an IT infrastructure for documenting and publishing data collected by GDH. He is particularly interested in containerized, scalable software architecture, as well as in backend programming.
