KILIMANJARO BLIND TRUST

Kilimanjaro Blind Trust Africa (KBTA) is a charitable Trust based in Nairobi, Kenya. We provide access to digital Braille literacy & life skills to children and young adults with visual impairment and deaf-blindness. We serve over 3000 learners across 200 schools in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. We have been working with children and young adults with visual impairments in Africa for over a decade. We believe that children and young adults with visual impairments can only achieve real social and economic inclusion in society by gaining access to quality education. By improving literacy among children and young adults with visual impairments, we believe we can help children and young adults to receive quality education, higher job placement rates, higher levels of integration and independent living...
