LAWHEAD FAMILY DENTISTRY - Key Persons

Dr. Carlin Lawhead joined Drs. John and Robert Trevarthen in 1982 after completing a General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Iowa City. Following John's retirement in 1990, Dr. Carlin practiced with Robert until his retirement in 2014. In 2018, Dr. Carlin was proud to welcome his son, Christopher into the practice. Dr. Chris is a fourth-generation dentist. His father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather all graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. They are the first family to have four generations dentists all graduate from the University of Iowa. Drs. Carlin and Chris Lawhead are proud to have a well-educated, enthusiastic staff of 10 team members, whose cumulative experience totals over 130 years. Together, they strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate dental care to the Muscatine community.
