In 2015, I was providing technical consulting and training to a variety of clients across multiple domains (banking, automotive, aerospace, telecom, etc.) A friend asked me to develop a web application for their growing nutrition business. I took on the challenge and was able to transform their 2 paragraphs of requirements into a multi-user Web/Mobile application, enabling them to scale up their business and franchise it to hundreds of fitness providers across north america, supporting thousands of monthly users. The application contains a Javascript, Bootstrap4, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, CCSS front-end, communicating to a mySQL database server with 50+ tables using a PHP middle tier, and included integrations to an Infusionsoft CRM system and paypal payment system. It has been fun to watch it grow and it and it gave me an opportunity to learn modern application technologies and deploy them to a very large customer base.
