Kien C. Tiet

Kien C. Tiet - Mr. Tiet's practice centers on business litigation, taxation law, probate, trust and estate litigation, corporate and business formation, immigration and real estate law. He earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Loyola Law School in 1997 and a Master of Laws (L.L.M) in Taxation from Loyola Law School in 2003. Prior to establishing his law firm, Mr. Tiet was the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer of a fuel distribution company with gross annual income in excess of $250 million. His role in the organization included negotiating multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions, overseeing a financial audit in anticipation of a reverse merger into a publicly traded company, preparing financials and proforma projections for purposes of obtaining credit and financing, and negotiating multi-year supply agreements with various major U.S. gasoline refineries. In 1997, Mr. Tiet was admitted to the state bar of California and U.S. District Court, Central District of California. The following year he was admitted to the state bar of Nevada. He was also admitted to U.S. Tax Court in 2004. Mr. Tiet holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Majors in Mathematics-Applied Science and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2008, Mr. Tiet completed the Director Certification Program offered by the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. As a certified director, he is qualified to sit on the board of directors for any privately held or publicly traded corporation.
