Brooke Smith is the Firm Administrator for Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC. With 19 years' experience as a paralegal, Brooke manages the law firm's day to day operations while providing legal support to its attorneys as needed.
Although she currently resides in Chattanooga, Brooke was born and raised in North Georgia where her love of music was cultivated. At the age of four, she began taking piano lessons, later learning to play the flute and saxophone. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she studied flute performance not thinking that she would ever have a "desk job." However, several years later she found herself working at a law firm and fell in love with the law.
Working in the legal field has afforded Brooke opportunities to fulfill her passion for helping people. Whether it is successfully submitting paperwork to assist a client seeking 501(c)3 status, or serving on the board of local nonprofit organizations, Brooke thrives on helping others succeed. During her personal time, Brooke teaches flute lessons, is an active volunteer in her role as Executive Director with The Advocacy Center and also performs with Flute Night Out, a local flute choir that promotes a lifetime enjoyment of music. A native of Rossville, Georgia, Chris is a graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the University of Georgia, where he received undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science. After working on a congressional campaign as political director, Chris attended the University of Georgia School of Law and received his J.D. degree. While at UGA Law, Chris was a member of the Mock Trial Board, President of the Student Bar Association and President of The Federalist Society. Chris worked for several law firms in Atlanta after law school and founded his own law practice in 2019 in Atlanta prior to joining Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC.
Chris is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Chattanooga Bar Association and Atlanta Lawyer's Club. Chris and his wife Ali reside in Chattanooga with their three sons. Chris is a lifelong Chattanooga Lookouts fan and enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Chris recently completed a two-year term as President of the Tornado Club in charge of concessions and recently joined the McCallie Athletic Council. Michael focuses his practice on representing clients in commercial litigation and business transactions. Michael also assists clients in estate planning and probate cases. As those who know him will attest, Michael cares about people and the difficult situations they face, taking the time to genuinely listen to his clients' concerns and desires in order to provide quality and effective advocacy.
Michael, a Chattanooga native, graduated from Boyd Buchanan School and thereafter received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During college, Michael served as a Cavalry Scout with Det. 1-HHT 2/278th Armored Cavalry Regiment of the Tennessee Army National Guard. Subsequently, he attended Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama where he earned his law degree. Michael has been married to the love of his life, Donna, since 2017. Together with their sons, two dogs and two cats, the Holloways reside in the Chattanooga area. When not advocating on behalf of his clients, Michael can be found at home playing guitar, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Lee Mangum has been licensed to practice law since 2017. After serving in the United States Army, Lee obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of West Georgia and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he met his wife who is also a practicing attorney.
Lee concentrates his practice in the areas of wills and estates, corporate and business transactions and litigation, and serving as general counsel to several small to medium size businesses throughout the southeast portion of the United States. Additionally, Lee has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting various company contracts, including operating agreements, employment agreements, lease agreements and construction contracts.
Lee is a native of Newnan, Georgia and is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Florida. In addition to practicing law, Lee and his wife also own and manage rental properties through an LLC they started, which has helped Lee better identify and cater to the needs of small business owners and startups. Additionally, Lee's unique training and experiences as an Army interrogator have provided him with a unique edge in negotiations and litigation. Mark Litchford and Richard Pearce have known each other since about the age of five, playing together in the streets of East Brainerd (Concord Road) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mark and Richard then attended The McCallie School together, where Mark was a boarding student and Richard a day student (making them bitter rivals). This common bond, however, formed the core of their friendship when they started practicing law together in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2008. Since then, Mark and Richard have worked together extensively to develop synergistic law practices, working off of each other's strengths to the benefit of their clients. Mark is a founding member of Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC, and licensed to practice in Tennessee, Georgia, the Federal Eastern District Court of Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mark concentrates his practice in government law, commercial litigation, estate planning, real property, personal injury, and business transactions. Mark is recognized as a multi-nominated Best Lawyers in America and Mid-South Super Lawyers, and is a member of the executive board for the Chattanooga Bar Association.
Mark has extensive trial experience in representing clients in a variety of areas, including governmental regulations, personal injury, federal and state constitutional law, and real property disputes. Mark also serves as general outside-counsel to various mid-size companies engaged in the following industries: oil & lubricant distribution, logistic freight, restaurant, medical, and real estate. The services provided to these companies include labor & employment consulting, contract negotiations, member/shareholder agreements, and collections. Mark also represents and/or serves as trustee for various trusts in connection with his estate planning services.
A native of Crossville, Tennessee, Mark was a boarding student at The McCallie School of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, for both his undergraduate and Master's degrees. Mark received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis University where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity and an active participant in the Mock Trial and Advanced Moot Court competitions. Mark was also the recipient of the CALI Award given to the student with the top overall score in Property and was also the recipient of the Cicero Award for outstanding oral argument performance in the Legal Methods Program.
Mark clerked for the Honorable W. Neil Thomas, III, of the Eleventh Judicial District for Tennessee in Hamilton County, and practiced at a prestigious law firm in Chattanooga before establishing Litchford, Pearce & Associates, PLLC, in 2018. Prior to attending law school, Mark taught calculus, advanced geometry, and algebra at the Boyd Buchanan School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Since 2017, Mark has served as the city attorney for East Ridge, Tennessee, and has extensive experience in drafting municipal contracts and ordinances, assisting with land use regulation, industrial and commercial development, local government budgeting, and public-private partnerships.
Mark is a member of the Tennessee, Georgia and local Chattanooga Bar Association and is actively involved with the Tennessee Municipal League, the National League of Cities, Municipal Technical Advisory Service, and the Tennessee Municipal Attorneys Association. In 2022, Mark graduated from the Tennessee Bar Association's Leadership Law Program which selects less than 40 attorneys across the State of Tennessee for participation and focuses on leadership in the legal profession, issues in the courts, policy-making in state government, and the importance of community services.
