PIANO PRIVATE PRACTICE

My name is Kathryn and I love teaching piano! I have been playing piano since I was 5 years old, and have 15 years teaching experience. I have a music degree from UC Berkeley and have studied with a wide range of piano instructors, including Dr. Bell of Juilliard. Over the years I've immersed myself in assorted types of piano-related work, in addition to teaching. These musical jobs range from being a professional accompanist for the Unified School District, to playing gigs, and even performing my own compositions. I've composed for various ensembles and multiple virtuoso musicians in the Bay Area, as well as commercial advertising for private business owners. Music is a huge part of my life and I am passionate about sharing this joy with others. I take pride in personalizing each lesson to fit the individual needs and goals of each student...
