Starting out in Employee Benefits during a downturn in the economy proved to be quite a challenging introduction to the business. Most of my contemporaries quickly left the business while I persisted and found great interest in the Senior Market.

Liz began her own entrepreneurial journey at her father's insurance agency in 2002. Her strong desire to help clients navigate insurance options led her to make a bold decision--she started her own agency, where she could use her knowledge and perspective to simplify the sometimes-painful process of shopping for health insurance.
Mark LaFavre, Owner and Managing Partner, has over 25-year experience in the industry. Mark's expertise in Product Development and National Distribution are a cornerstone of UBP.
Michael (Mike) Shiomos has over 30 years of sales leadership and marketing experience including President, VP of Sales and NMD with various marketing and insurance companies.
Rebecca S LaFavre is the COO of UBP Insurance, responsible for Contracting, Operations, Finance and Marketing. Prior to joining UBP, Rebecca spent 30 years in banking. Her varied background as a Bank Executive included responsibilities for Bank Manager, Marketing, Finance, and Project Management. This vast expertise provided the perfect foundation for what she doing now.
