Adam joined Watkin Property Ventures in September 2020 as a Management Accountant. He has 7 years' experience in the accounting profession having previously worked in education and travel & tourism. Adam is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Ann Jones

Job Titles:
  • Group Support Manager
Ann joined the business in July 2019. She was previously a Manager for the School's Music Service for 20 years and prior to that was a secretary in a public sector primary school. Ann has been brought into the business to be responsible for strategic lead, HR and ensuring accountability of all stakeholders.

Charlotte Hughes

Job Titles:
  • Commercial Manager
Charlotte Joined the business in January 2024. Charlotte brings 31 years experience in the construction industry varying from quantity surveying, land acquisition, construction, technical and design management, sales and customer care from inception to implementation and completion, including being part of a team in delivering multiple schemes including residential homes, student and social housing, BTR, refurbishment, elderly care and education.

Dylan Norton

Job Titles:
  • Senior Asset Manager
Prior to Dylan starting in his role as Asset Manager in January 2019, Dylan was working in the asset management department of a large housing association in Cardiff. Dylan graduated from Swansea University in 2008 and he also has a professional qualification in construction. Dylan has spent his entire career to date working in the property industry where he has gained significant experience in both property management and lettings.

Elan Watkin Jones

Job Titles:

Elan joined the property team at Watkin Property Ventures in March 2023. Elan is a recent graduate from the University of Chester and is excited to learn and expand her knowledge in the property sector.

Gareth Taylor

Job Titles:
  • Management Accountant
Gareth joined Watkin Property Ventures in June 2022 as a management accountant. He has worked 17 years in finance having previously worked in telecommunications, printing and security.Gareth became a charted management accountant in 2014.

Gary Pritchard

Job Titles:
  • Purchase Ledger Clerk
Gary joined Watkin Property Ventures in July 2021 after spending the last three years in the Purchase Ledger of a nationwide builder's merchant and an Accountancy firm. Prior to that, Gary worked at a bespoke travel company, which he joined after many years of seasonal work abroad.

Glyn Watkin Jones - Chairman

Job Titles:
  • Chairman
Glyn has been Chairman of Watkin Property Ventures since its incorporation. He joined Watkin Jones & Son Ltd in 1961, stepping down as Chairman when the company floated on AIM in 2016.

Haf Roberts

Job Titles:
  • Property Management Surveyor
Haf joined Watkin Property Ventures in October 2022. Since graduating University in 2015, Haf has been working in the property management industry, initially in Residential Lettings and more recently in Block Management.

Heidi Watts-Thomas

Job Titles:

  • Management Accountant
Heidi joined the business in June 2018. She previously worked for a housing organisation for eight years. Prior to that she spent 11 years in local government and worked for an accountancy firm for two years.

Ian Roberts

Job Titles:
  • Accounting Technician
Ian joined the business in 2011 and has more than 20 years experience in finance. He previously worked in the banking industry.

Joanne Gilpin

Joanne began working with the Watkin Jones family straight from school and has been with them for more than 25 years, working her way up from office junior to personal assistant to Mark Watkin Jones in 2002. She joined Watkin Property Ventures in January 2019. Joanne also oversees our staff in Group Support including responsibilities for HR, managing the office environment and marketing & branding.

Julian Browne - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Finance Director
  • Finance Manager
Julian joined the business as Finance Manager in 2011 and has been Finance Director since 2013. He holds an honours degree in accounting and finance from Manchester Metropolitan University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having qualified with Morris & Co in 2001. Julian moved into industry in 2006, where he gained broad property experience as group financial controller of a family owned property development company, before joining Watkin Jones Group.

Juliet Williams

Job Titles:
  • Senior Administrator - Group Support
Juliet joined the business in October 2023. Following 15 years in a Senior HR Officer role for the Manufacturing Industry, Juliet originally started working for the Watkin Jones family in 2004. She has worked in various areas of the Watkin Jones business, including Administration, HR, PA to Exec Main Board Director, and H&S Training, Learning and Development. She re-joined the family business at Watkin Property Ventures reporting to the Group Support Team as Senior Administrator.

Lisa Owen

Lisa has assisted Glyn Watkin Jones for more than 15 years, both at Watkin Jones & Son Ltd and now at Watkin Property Ventures.

Mark Hogan

Job Titles:
  • Development Director
Mark joined the business in April 2019. He has a BSc Hons Degree in Quantity Surveying and 16 years' construction industry experience, covering a wide variety of sectors and procurement methods. He has worked on projects with values of up to £35 million and ranging from minor refurbishments to multi-storey city centre projects.

Natalie McRoy

Job Titles:
  • Commercial Property Manager
Natalie joined the business in September 2023. Prior to joining the team, Natalie was working as a Property Management Associate for a large global property consultancy. Natalie's career in property started whilst working for a Healthcare REIT, progressing through the ranks there from Property Administrator to Property Asset Assistant and finally to Portfolio Manager after achieving a distinction grade MSc Real Estate from UCEM. In this role Natalie gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of property, facilities, and asset management. Natalie then focused on Property Management, working for a large commercial landlord, resolving Service Charge legacy issues, project managing cladding removal and preparing assets for sale.

Nikki Tomlinson

Nikki joined the property team at Watkin Property Ventures in January 2019. Graduating from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Property Management, Nikki initially started her career in Residential Lettings before moving to Property Management where she oversaw the management of over 300 properties, including Student Accommodation and Block Management. In her current role Nikki assists the property team with the day to day management of the company's portfolio of commercial properties as well as seeking new investments.

Rebecca Gore

Job Titles:

Rebecca joined Watkin Property Ventures during October 2021 and was previously employed in the textiles importing supply chain after gaining a Business degree from Liverpool John Moore's University in 2020. Rebecca is cherishing the opportunity of learning and expanding her knowledge in the property management sector with WPV.

Rhys Roberts

Rhys joined us in September 2019. He was previously Finance Manager for a local authority for six years and was responsible for the Services' Accounting team. Prior to that he spent 13 years in the telecommunications industry, latterly as Chief Accounting Officer for a large multinational.

Sior Hayward - Chief Investment Officer

Sior joined the business as a building surveyor straight from university in July 2010, having studied for a degree in Real Estate at Sheffield Hallam University and a post graduate diploma in Commercial Building Surveying at John Moore's University. The diverse wealth of experience Sior has gained whilst at the company has seen him progress into his current role.

Steven Townshend

Steven joined the business in August 2021. He has BSc Hons Degrees in both Quantity Surveying and Psychology.Steven has 7 years construction industry experience working on large scale PBSA and Residential developments with values of up to £60m.

Tanya Parry

Tanya joined Watkin Property Ventures in April 2022. Tanya has over 10 years' experience in the finance industry having previously spent the last 5 years as a management accountant in the renewable energy sector.

Tara Hughes

Job Titles:

Tara joined Watkin Property Ventures in March 2019. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University in the US with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a master's degree in accounting, and has worked in accounts for more than five years in both the US and the UK. Tara started with WPV as a Purchase Ledger Clerk but has recently been promoted to Accounting Assistant.
