Dariusz Nowak

Dariusz is a geotechnical technician and offshore operator with a MSc (Eng) in the field of Engineering and ten years of industry experience in an engineering capacity. With more than four years of hands-on experience as a geotechnical laboratory technician and ten years in-the-field operations experience including surveys for infrastructure and energy projects for a wide variety of clients, Dariusz is a valuable addition to the team. After joining Bluefield in 2022 he quickly began working on offshore projects in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and Pacific Ocean. As a Geotechnical Engineer Dariusz works on a broad range of geotechnical survey projects in which he is able to apply the theory, practical training and consultation experience acquired in the field.

Jon Beatty

Jon spent 26 years with Schlumberger in geoscience and petro-technical engineering and senior management positions, and most recently was the head of the offshore geotechnical service line for ACTEON. An engineer by background, Jon is passionate about the united power of people, partners, and technology and connecting each of these to serve the customer and deliver effective and innovative solutions for agile delivery and rapid business scale up.

Jonathan Bell

From an early age Jonathan was always interested in Engineering, and it was at Kingston University, in conjunction with KLM at Norwich airport, that he learned the fundamentals of Aircraft Engineering. This led to an opportunity to work with small aircraft and maintenance companies where he gained hands-on experience of working to stringent safety requirements and precision tolerances. He then moved to Gardline where, for three years, he participated on a wide range of offshore campaigns, before joining Ficep where he installed, commissioned and trained personal on complete CNC machine production lines in UK and Scandinavia. As a Geotechnical Operator is responsible for establishing methods in data acquisition as well as developing new technologies and pushing boundaries such as the deepest ever CPT in water depths of over 4,000 meters.

Mark Ramsey - COO

Mark spent 20 years as an engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry before transferring to the offshore geotechnical world and has spent the last 10 years developing and integrating skill sets from both industry areas on projects worldwide.

Mike Fearn

Mike has 25 years global experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a focus within the last 10 years on the offshore site investigation / geotechnical market. Mike has been successful as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager in projects for the Oil & Gas operators, Offshore Renewables along with the service contractors.

Peter Allan

Job Titles:

Peter has 30 years expertise in geotechnical engineering, ranging from development of high quality in situ testing tools to acting as an expert witness in arbitration tribunals. Subsea geotechnical experience includes all types of foundation solutions and he is internationally recognised as one of the leading authorities in subsea trenching and cable risk assessment. Peter has started two subsea geotechnical companies, both of which were built up and successfully acquired by leading offshore survey contractors.
