Nick is the founder and director of Canal Street Research, carrying out independent research and consultancy on all aspects of UK residential property. His areas of interest include house price forecasting, demographic trends, development strategy and policy analysis. He previously worked for Savills in their residential research team from 2014 to 2018, latterly as an Associate Director leading their planning and affordable housing research consultancy. Prior to Savills he worked as an analyst for a small energy efficiency consultancy. He has a first-class degree in Materials Science from Oxford University.
