Claire Moore

Job Titles:
  • As Managing Director, Claire Takes Overall Responsibility for the Award - Winning, Independent Agency That Is Peakes Travel Elite.
Claire's lifelong passion for travel was realised in 1995 when she joined the business. The knowledge and expertise gained over the years have stood her in good stead to head the marvellous team that she leads today. She is very proud of the unique and personal service offered, making sure clients can get to know her and the team, but more importantly that they can get to know you too. Claire's particular passion is luxury and long-haul travel. Her more memorable experiences include wine tasting in South Africa, sailing in the Barrier Reef and game viewing in Zimbabwe. When she isn't exercising her travel agency super powers, Claire is never happier than when she is spending time exploring the world with her family.

Frances Peake

Job Titles:
  • Staff Member
Since starting the business over 30 years ago Frances has seen many changes in the industry and has taken great pride and pleasure in seeing the business grow and thrive over the years. Although no longer actively involved in the day-to-day running of the agency, Frances is very much thought of as part of the team and office Mum to us all! Frances still enjoys travelling and has a passion for mainland Greece, alongside river cruising and the Far East. Her top tip…

Kate Goodrich

Kate joined Peakes Travel Elite in 2002 and has over 25 years of travel experience. Her passion for travel is seen through her commitment to helping clients with their travel adventures. Kate has travelled the world and uses her extensive knowledge to unearth new ideas on how to experience a destination. She was gripped by wanderlust from an early age which has led her to a career in travel and she counts Australia, India, Africa and the USA as some of her favourite places. Her goal is to visit all the continents and only has Antarctica to go! After a few years where we all had our wings clipped, she would urge you to say yes to new adventures!

Millie Moore

Millie is our newest and arguably cutest staff member! While she belongs to Claire, she is devoted to all Peakes Travel staff, mainly because they feed her a constant supply of treats! She loves to participate in staff meetings but most of her creative thinking is done with her eyes closed! She does tend to perk up at lunchtime when it's time for a walk around The Quarry. Millie manages to put a smile on all our faces and makes the office a happier place.

Sarah Cooper

Sarah was born and raised in Northern Ireland but is now happily settled in Shropshire which explains her unique accent, friendly nature, and her big smile! Sarah has been travelling the world since before she could walk, having parents that were avid travellers meant she caught the travel bug from an early age. With 8 years of previous travel experience, Sarah joined the team in early 2018 as our resident cruise specialist. Her wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm are invaluable, and she takes pride in finding the perfect cruise to suit, creating trips of a lifetime for others, and sharing all that she has experienced to make their journey just as memorable. Her recent travel industry nomination is a testament to this. Sarah loves to explore and discover new destinations. You will find her at her happiest on a cruise with a strawberry daiquiri in her hand! Her adventures have led her to snorkelling in the Caribbean, island hopping in the Med and wildlife watching in Alaska, to name a few. Her favourite destination is Venice, but as it is surrounded by water this should come as no surprise!

Sue Kinton

Sue has been in the travel industry since 1997 and puts her passion for travel down to a school trip at age 15 on the SS Uganda, doing a Mediterranean Cruise. She has extensive knowledge of many long-haul destinations, as well as the cruising sector. Her particular interests are Canada, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica and the Greek Islands. Sue loves the natural world and has swum with Whale Sharks in Mexico and Manta Rays and Reef Sharks in Australia, as well as seeing Elephants, a Sloth Bear and a Leopard in Sri Lanka. She is a keen photographer and is never without her camera. She loves nothing more than getting ‘off piste' to try and capture that special image. Sue is an advocate of the ‘Soft Adventure' small group tour and has experienced many of these over the years including trips to Vietnam, West Coast Australia, Greek Island Hopping and a wildlife tour in Sri Lanka. Far from the ‘age-old' myth of large groups of people following an umbrella around, she found small groups of ‘like-minded' travellers soon becoming firm friends. Her top tip…

Susan Jones

Susan has 20 years of experience working in travel, from specialist tour operators to high street agencies, so she brought with her considerable expertise when she joined Peakes in 2019. Originally she was our resident meet and greeter, so hers was the friendly face you saw when you visited our office. Her role today is admin executive, supporting the team and keeping the office running smoothly with her fantastic organisational skills and attention to detail. SueJo, as she is affectionally known, is responsible for enhancing our clients' experience by adding a concierge service.

Torr Walker

Torr started her travel career as an apprentice at Thomas Cook before joining the Peakes team 7 years later as a European Specialist in 2019. She loves helping clients with tailor-made itineraries in luxury European destinations and puts her passion and personal knowledge into every trip she designs. Torr has travelled extensively around Europe and has also been lucky enough to explore the Caribbean, the Far East and Dubai. Two of Torr's most memorable trips have been visiting Switzerland and Indonesia, which couldn't be more diverse and that's the beauty of travelling! Switzerland exceeded Torr's expectations. She enjoyed travelling on 24 trains, including the world-famous Glacier Express, which she would highly recommend. She loved the natural beauty of Indonesia's islands, combining a relaxing beach stay with waterfalls, temples and rice terraces. Torr loves being taken out of her comfort zone exploring new destinations, meeting new people, and living for new experiences.
