Anthony Banks has over 30 years of experience in academic research, with thirteen years as a member of the Rogers Research Group at University of Illinois and currently as a key member of the Center for Bio-Integrated Electronics. He has co-authored more than 20 publication during this time. Banks has managed large groups of postdoctoral fellows, research associates and graduate students in a range of multidisciplinary topics, from low temperature physics, to flexible electronics, photovoltaics, microfluidics and micro-electromechanical systems. He is skilled in direct, hand-on efforts in advanced technology and instrumentation development. His experience is distinguished not only by accomplishment in academic research but also, particularly in the past 12 years, in transfer of academic innovations to companies, both large (e.g. Loreal, Medtronic, Reebok and others) and small (MC10, Semprius, CoolEdge Lighting, NeuroLux, Wearifi, EpiCore and others) for scalable commercial product manufacturing. Banks served as Chief Technical Officer for AJA International, an international manufacturing company with a portfolio of products in the research and development sector. He also is co-inventor on several patents, and he is a private research consultant and co-founder of NeuroLux and Wearifi.

Dr. Jan-Kai Chang obtained a PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University in electrical engineering. Dr. Chang has over 10 years experience in bioelectronics technology, ranging from bioresorbable semiconductors to implantable transient electronics to wearable electronic systems. He has published over 13 peer-reviewed papers with the Wearifi team and is listed as an inventor on wearable technologies for skin health care including hydration, TEWL and UV sensors. His publications have appeared in prestigious journals such as PNAS, Nature Electronics, and Nature Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Chang is co-founder and CTO of Wearifi Inc, a spinout startup pursuing commercialization of wearable skincare technologies.

Jeff Model obtained his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. As the Medical Product Development and Manufacturing Advisor, he brings over 15 years of product development experience in the design, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of Class II and III medical devices to CBIE. During his tenure at MC10, Model led the mechanical architecture of the BioStamp wearable monitoring system, set up the skin bio-adhesive manufacturing line, co-authored the company-wide ISO 13485-certified quality management system, and led the company's first IRB-approved clinical study. Prior to that, he worked at Angiodynamics, where he helped drive the design and validation of the company's RF, microwave, and IRE ablation devices and systems. Prior to Angiodynamics, Model worked at Hologic and led the mechanical design and implementation of high volume Class III surgical devices from napkin-stage concepts to full market release. Model currently serves as technical lead/advisor at Wearifi and Vice President of Product Development at Epicore Biosystems, a company bringing novel skin-interfaced sweat microfluidic devices to consumer and medical markets.

John Wright obtained his MS in Material Science and Engineering and BS in Mechanical Engineering both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Translational R&D and COO at Epicore Biosystems. He has extensive experience in both the medical device and pharmaceutical industries and has held leadership positions for the research, product development, pre-clinical / clinical evaluation, manufacturing, and commercial delivery of translational wearable biosensors, Class II and III advanced cardiac and neurovascular implantable and drug-delivery products.

Jong Yoon Lee received his B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2018. He spent more than five years in John Rogers Research Group developing novel wireless biosensors with unique modalities and advancing three-dimensional electronic networks. He also served as a researcher at the Center for Cognitive Computing Systems Research and the Jump Applied Research designing scalable cognitive applications. He co-founded Sibel Health and currently serves as a principal software engineer leading the software efforts for domestic and global clinical trials. Before joining Sibel Health, He also served in IBM Research and Yahoo, where he contributed to HPC/Cluster tools that leveraged Big Data and A.I.

Signals and Signal Processing. He has spent a decade as a Product Line Applications Engineer at Analog Devices focusing on amplifiers, analog multipliers, and biopotential signal conditioning circuits. At MC10 Inc, he served as a Senior Electrical Engineer developing wearable, ultra low-power circuits where he also managed an Advance Development team.
