Fort Recovery Lumber was founded in 1915 by Louis Moeller. Later the company was passed down to son-in-laws Albert Bubp and Wm. Knapke. The third generation owners were James and David Bubp. They passed the business down to James's son, Brian Bubp and David's son-in-law, Chris Moeller. Chris and Brian are still the current owners. We are proud to be family owned and operated and hope to continue with years to come... Fort Recovery Lumber was organized in Fort Recovery, Ohio at a location on Broadway Street. The franchise was incorporated in June 1915 by Louis Moeller, who moved to Fort Recovery from Minster. Previously, Louis was president and manager of the company.
