LYNCH DENTAL PRACTICE - Key Persons

DR JOE LYNCH

Joe graduated from the University of Queensland in 1989, before starting work for the School Dental Service and Hospital Dental Clinic in Ayr and Mackay. After finishing his work as a school dentist Joe started at Brice Lynch Dental Surgery in Ayr, where he stayed for a further 8 years. After being persuaded, he headed to Nambour in 2001 to help out his older brother Peter as he thought he could teach him a few tricks, despite being bullied by him as a child… Joe has been married to Petah since 1994 and has one daughter and four sons. His hobbies involve tending to his cows, chooks, dogs, cats, children and veggie patch.

Dr Peter Lynch

Peter graduated from University of Queensland in 1984 and started work at Mareeba Hospital Dental Clinic. He stayed in Mareeba for three years before moving to the Nambour Hospital Dental Clinic in 1987. In 1989 Peter started working at the current practice, which was then known as Carr & Scott Surgery. Upon the retirement of John Carr and Steve Scott in 2001. Peter managed to convince his younger (and much uglier) brother Joe to relocate from Ayr to Nambour to form Lynch Dental Practice. Peter has been married to Karen since 1986 and has three sons who (as of 2016) are all studying at UQ. Peter's spare time is mostly spent in the garden and bagging social media.
