Cole Boats ……….The Legend Lives On! In 1974 Jim Cole established Cole Marine located as 3711 Foothill Blvd, Glendale Ca. 91214 and became a distributor for Kurtis-Kraft Boats. By 1975 Jim had begun manufacturing boats under the name Cole Custom Boats initially building TR-1, TR2, and V-bottom models with plans to introduce a revolutionalry hydro in 1976. Jim relocated his business to 10155 Canoga Ave, Canoga Park / Chatsworth, Ca 91311 in 1978. Cole Boats earned a reputation for exceptional performance on the water. Race-bred vessels designed for high speeds for onshore as well as offshore boating, all products created by Cole Boats are custom ordered vessels. Cole Boats ended production in 2003 after residing as a top drag boat company for 25 years. Even though Jim has passed, the boats he created continue to prove their timelessness.
