A firm believer in giving back to her community, Dinah remains an active volunteer having sat on local and state-wide boards, school site councils, and County commissions for over twenty-five years. She currently volunteers as a trustee on the Law Library board, having just finished a term as a grand juror on the Santa Cruz County Civil Grand Jury. Recently Dinah completed three terms on the board of Santa Cruz County Trial Lawyers Association, where she sat as chair for two years, and also served as treasurer for the local League of Women Voters. Throughout the years Dinah sat on the boards of Monterey College of Law, Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County, California Women Lawyers, YWCA Watsonville, and Advocacy, Inc., a non-profit organization that advocates for the rights of the elderly and for the vulnerable. Dinah has also served on multiple School Site Councils, Home and School Clubs, and the Santa Cruz County Women's Commission.
