It is also recommended to wait before setting a schedule with your contractor until an approval has been awarded... Please be advised that the Annual Fire Alarm Inspection is due. This is a mandatory requirement for the building by fire code, and it will require that all units provide access for an in-unit inspection of the fire alarms within every unit and all common areas. The inspections will be done by the Association's fire alarm vendor, Low Voltage. The inspection will be done very quickly with about 30 minutes allotted per floor as the vendor will try to minimize the amount of time that the fire alarms are sounding off... Please be advised, the schedule has been set in the attached document. Any units who cannot provide access on the scheduled date will require a reschedule inspection, in which the Unit Owner will be responsible for the return..
