Ayo Giwa is the Managing Director of Second Adams International Limited, provider of services to the Manufacturing, Utilities, Ports, Harbors, Logistics and the Oil and Gas Industries.
His carrier span over 30 years in these industries with extensive experience in estimation, design, project engineering and management of pipeline, industrial piping, offshore platform refurbishment, hydroelectric power plants, open cycle and combine power cycle power plants, ports and harbors and mining. Hands on experience in maintenance, equipment erection, inspection, construction, fabrication, upgrade programs, diving, rope access, dredging, salvage, horizontal directional drilling and trenchless pipe laying activities.
Ayo moved to Canada in 2006 with his family in order to give them a new living experience, explore new frontier and be close to the source of technology. Ayo registered McAlpha Inc. in 2007 and after acquiring the Canadian experience by working for CH2M Hill, Canada as an Estimator and Field Engineer he finally lunch the business in 2010 with the business of asset digitalization using Laser Scanner and invited the Albert Government to witness the business kick-off. McAlpha later was invited by the Alberta Economic Development and Trade as part of the delegation to the World Bank Trade Mission to Ghana and Senegal in 2014.
Under Ayo's leadership McAlpha was awarded a 1,600 km rail road LiDAR project in Brazil and executed the project within schedule and budget for Engefoto, Parana, Brazil, and since had formed relationship within the transportation, power, manufacturing and agricultural sectors in the country. In addition, McAlpha had also formed relationship with the two largest government establishments in China and one private to do business in the agricultural and infrastructural industries in Africa. Other relationships formed with US and Canadian companies in renewable energy development, waste water treatment and natural gas monetization.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science Degree in Design and Production from University of Lagos, Master of Engineering Degree in Tribology in Machine Design from University of Leeds. He also holds Class II commercial diving [equivalent to HSE Part I] qualification. He had developed patentable procedures for underwater welding and road crossing using coffer habitat in waterlogged environment. He had practiced his profession in United Kingdom, Brazil, Nigeria and Canada. He is a Professional Engineer (PE) of the Province of Alberta, Canada and a Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE)
Ayo is interested in integrating different technologies to provide a long-lasting solution applicable to the local environment of domiciliation, improving health, creating a sustainable development and job opportunities to the growing population.
Godwin Idoko is the Executive Director of VGA Integrated Services Nigeria Limited and Manging Director VGA Energy Inc., Canada, an Oil & Gas Service Provider for Onshore and Offshore projects.
His career spans over 30 years' in upstream Oil and Gas surface facilities includes extensive experiences in front end design, detailed design, Installation Engineering & Construction for Green fields, Brown fields, covering several Onshore and Offshore projects.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1986, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermofluids Option) from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria, in 1988. He also holds MBA degrees from Johnson Cornell School of Business, Ithaca, New York, USA and Smith's School of Business of Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
He is a Professional Engineer (PE) of the Province of Alberta, Canada. He is a member of The Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN), a Fellow of the Nigeria Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FNiMechE), and a Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE) as well as Society of petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Vincent Amanyi BSc (Hons), MBA, DBA is the Commercial Director of VGA Integrated Services Nigeria Limited and VGA Energy Inc., Canada, an Oil & Gas Service Provider for Onshore and Offshore projects.
