Amie is our MIS Support Officer as well as one of our leading Data Protection Officers at IT Systems. Amie has worked in the Education Sector for nearly ten years in a senior administrative role for a diverse school in the heart of Darlington.
Amie provides MIS support and training for our education-based customers and is the first port of call for any queries relating to data administration. In the other half of her role, Amie undertakes all the key aspects of the role of Data Protection Officer for over 100 customers. This includes compliance and governance monitoring, assessing data risk and mapping as well as liaising with all key stakeholders and incident management.
Amie is also a member of our sales and marketing team leading with our growing social media portfolio.
In her spare time, Amie enjoys chasing the sun with her friends to much warmer climates. She is also a big music fan and goes to as many concerts as possible.
Beryl has worked in educational administration for many years and is a former Office Manager for a large Multi-Academy Trust. Beryl is responsible for the day to day administrative and financial running of the company, ensuring that office procedures and policies are followed.
Beryl's main loves outside of work are her grandchildren, as well as enjoying walking her dog and holidaying in the UK and abroad.
Caitlin is the youngest member of the IT Systems team and our first ever apprentice. She came to us from university and has proven herself to be a very valuable member of the team.
Recently she has even taken on schools of her own and is a member of our marketing team leading on our social media portfolio
In her personal time she likes to spend time with her friends and family as well as spend lots of time on social media.
John has been involved in educational ICT since we were all using the original BBC Micro and was originally supporting young people with Special Educational Needs. John has been involved in numerous ICT projects over the years; from small installations to £40 million new-build schools. John's overall understanding of technical support, gained over 30 years, has helped to develop the solutions and services we now offer to schools as IT Systems & Support Limited.
John is an avid walker, a member of his local running club and, when spare time permits, works on Land Rover Defenders.

Scott has worked at IT Systems for over 7 years and joined us with the purpose of ensuring all system inter-connectivity and network security was fully operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Scott successfully manages both our Business Continuity Management system and Information Security Management system, independently audited by the Business Standards Institute. Scott has confidently steered us through multiple audits, inspections, and re-certifications.
Scott served his country as a Detachment Commander (RR) in the British Army's Royal Corps of Signals for 15 years and is a Gulf War Veteran. If it has anything to do with networking and data communication Scott has most-likely worked on it.
Scott's hobbies include rowing, Road Cycling, Asian Cooking and Flying on his extensive home flight simulator setup.

Tristen has worked in IT sector for over 20 years since graduating in 2002. Tristen is our resident Cloud portfolio specialist; working with private, public and hybrid cloud environments. Tristen has built and developed one of the first private cloud environments specifically for the Education Sector designed from the ground up with safeguarding and data security as the central purpose of the solution.
Tristen is our Data Protection, Disaster Recovery and Data Security lead at IT Systems as well as our GDPR and Senior Data Protection Officer for over 100 customers across the Education and Business sectors. Certified as a Data Protection Practitioner, Tristen is also a certified Information Security auditor.
Outside of the world of IT, Tristen is our resident Lego fanatic. Tristen is the Vice Chair for Brick Alley - a regional Lego group who host Lego exhibitions throughout the North East. Tristen is also a keen kettlebell lifter and competes on behalf for Tu Nova; a key player in the UK kettlebell lifting scene.
