Alex has 20 years' experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant at various law firms around the area. Alex started her career in a national firm when she left school and then went on to work for a local regional firm where she worked as a Conveyancing Secretary. Alex thoroughly enjoys working in the Conveyancing team at Tollers. Alex has 20 years' experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant at various local law firms. She started as a junior at Shoosmiths Solicitors and then went on to DFA Law where Alex worked as a Conveyancing Secretary. From there Alex moved to Borneo Martell Turner Coulston Solicitors as an Assistant and then to Premier Property Lawyers. Alison joined Tollers in 2021 from another legal firm, where she previously worked as a Paralegal specialising in drafting and advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney. Alison joined Tollers as a Paralegal responsible for processing new client enquiries and providing administrative support to fee earners within the Trust and Estates department at the Corby office. Alison now works as a Senior Paralegal and junior fee earner within the Trusts and Estates department. Amy Edwards

Amy is a Partner in the firm's employment team. She provides practical and commercial advice to businesses on all areas of HR and employment law, specialising in complex restructures, reorganisations and business transfers. She particularly enjoys getting to know her clients so her advice is tailored to meet their individual needs. She is a firm believer that prevention is better (and cheaper!) than a cure, and encourages employers to contact her at an early stage of the process when a more favourable outcome can often be achieved. Amy also works closely with the firm's corporate commercial team, advising on the employment aspects of transactions and commercial documentation. She also offers guidance to senior executives often those at Board level with shareholdings who find themselves in difficulty with their employer and assists clients with internal proceedings such a system disciplinary, grievances, redundancy and the negotiation of exit packages/settlements agreements. This includes leasehold, new build, help to buy, shared ownership and unregistered land matters. Before joining Tollers Angela's career was new build-focussed. Annabel Harding

Annabel is the first trainee solicitor at Tollers to undertake the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme, and alongside her training with the Firm, Annabel is also studying towards the Solicitors Qualifying Exams. Outside of the office, Annabel is a keen traveller and loves to explore new places. Annabel also enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking her dog and ice-skating.

Beth Albon

Brian Auld

Brian Auld has been a company commercial lawyer for over 30 years and joined Tollers in 2022. He has advised a variety of businesses during that time both as an in-house lawyer for the likes of Racal Electronics, Toshiba and Nortel, as well as in private practice. As a trainee solicitor, he spent time in Brussels with the European Commission and negotiated IT/supply contracts in Sweden, Denmark, France and Algeria. For the last 20 years Brian has specialised in advising clients in regard to commercial contacts and everything related to setting up, running and selling a business. He is highly experienced and works with both start-ups and established businesses and prides himself on being able to provide understandable commercial/pragmatic advice and works in partnership to find the right solution for clients.
