Amy Hull

With over 20 years' experience in dentistry, Amy is well known for her gentle and caring approach whilst helping patients improve their oral health. Qualifying in Birmingham in 2004, Amy won the GDC award for ‘Best in Practice' and was awarded winner for Oral Health Promotion by Oral B.

Annie Fulbrook

Annie joined is in Feb 2020 with 10 years experience managing a busy reception in the NHS. In her spare time Annie loves to spend time with her family and to go to live music events.

Chloe Smith

Chloe joined the team in November 2020 and was working as a dental nurse for 8 years before that. She loves working at Arden House and her cheerful, friendly can-do approach means she is a fantastic asset. Chloe is our Implant coordinator and is working towards her sedation nurse qualification. When not at work, she has been renovating her cottage with her partner and enjoys time with their two French bulldogs.

Emma has been a dental nurse since 2011 and joined us Arden House in 2022. Emma has made an instant impact at Arden House due to her positive approach and her ability to make our patients feel welcome and at ease. Outside of work Emma enjoys time with her husband and three children. She is a keen runner and likes to get out as often as she can.

Emma Mortimer

Emma has been a dental nurse since 2004 and joined us Arden House in 2013. Emma has a sunny, caring and calm personality that instantly puts our patients at ease. Emma has now qualified in Oral health Education and as our oral health educator works alongside our oral health team to teach all patients about good oral health. Outside of work Emma enjoys time with her family and two dogs, going to the gym and eating out.

Harriette Smith

Harriette has been dental nursing since 2016 and joined Arden House in 2021. She is a very hardworking and calm under pressure and always got a smile on her face. When not at work, Harriette is planning a volunteer trip with Dentaid to Uganda in 2022. Where she will be supporting local schools, orphanages and remote communities who do not have regular access to dental care. Providing them with oral health education and preventative treatments.

Imogen Bury Periodontal

Imogen graduated as a general dentist at Bristol Dental Hospital in 2012. She built her experience in general dentistry and first met Sarah several years ago when she worked as a House Officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at Gloucester Royal Hospital. In 2017 Imogen embarked on 4 years of specialist training at Guys Dental Hospital and graduated as a specialist periodontist in 2021. Imogen has recently moved to Malmesbury with her husband and works in and around the Bristol area. She is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology, where she regularly hosts online webinars for the society and has several publications. Imogen can carry out the full range of periodontal treatments, for patients who either self-refer or have been referred by their dentist or hygienist, including: Periodontal treatment planning Non-surgical therapy Surgical therapy - Pocket reduction, Bone regeneration, Recession coverage, crown lengthening Peri-implant disease management Outside of the dental surgery Imogen enjoys keeping fit, gardening and catching up with friends and family.

Jerry Farrier

Jerry has been a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Consultant in the Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General hospitals since 2006. Jerry also works at Arden House providing patients with a specialist service, offering his expert opinion and a range of treatments. Jerry is a kind, understanding and passionate person, always putting his patients first. He decided to follow the oral and maxillofacial surgery path after a varied and rich career initially in dentistry and the Navy. Jerry qualified in Dentistry and then later in Medicine in Wales, where he also completed his specialist surgical training. He has spent time in South Africa to further his surgical experience and continues to attend multiple courses to stay up to date. He has completed an aesthetic fellowship in a leading private hospital and has had extensive training as part of his specialist field. This, along with his in depth understanding of facial muscles, skin types, nerve supply and the underlying facial framework means he is able to offer facial cosmetic treatments confidently and safely. Jerry has lectured both at university and international level, has many publications and is also involved in research. For those more complex treatments or specialised procedures, it is important we liaise with specialists to ensure that you have the best treatment and service. Jerry lets us do just that, right here at Arden House. In the majority of cases your dentist or doctor would advise that you see him for a specific reason. You can make a direct appointment with Jerry should you wish. His expertise covers a variety of areas including anti-wrinkle treatments/dermal fillers, implants, difficult tooth removals and skin lesions. In his spare time he volunteers as a doctor for Gloucester Rugby Club, treating the team on and off the pitch. He enjoys working out at the gym and of course spending time with his family and friends including the family dog Scruffy! Katherine Weatherly

Katherine grew up in Cheltenham before moving to London to study Dentistry at King's College London. She qualified in 2018, and went on to complete her foundation training at an award winning practice in Kent. In her first year since qualifying, she won the award for best patient case presentation in South East London. She is currently studying to gain her MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons. Katherine is passionate about providing high quality and modern general dentistry for her patients, and has a particular interest in helping nervous patients overcome their dental anxiety. Outside work, Katherine enjoys cooking and finding new local restaurants to try.

Kimberley Bacon

Kimberley joined our reception team in September 2021. Kimberley has lots of experience as a receptionist and administrator and works very hard to ensure patients' appointments run smoothly. Ksenia studied Dentistry at the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University in the Ukraine. On moving to the UK, Ksenia was determined to pursue her passion for Dentistry and registered as a Dental Nurse whilst gaining her Dental Hygienist qualification in the UK. Ksenia is friendly, has a great sense of humour and is proving to be a great addition to the team. In her spare time Ksenia may be found with a paintbrush and she loves to paint or draw for relaxation.

Michael Simms

Job Titles:

Michael is originally from Belfast. He graduated from Newcastle University in 2008 and worked in general dental practice in Newcastle and Oxford before moving to Cheltenham. Michael enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in removable prosthetics (dentures). He has embraced CEREC technology and as well as providing friendly family dentistry he can offer ceramic crowns whilst you wait. Having joined us towards the end of 2012, our patients really appreciate Michael's kind and gentle manner. Michael's qualifications also include implant surgery and adult orthodontics (Inman Aligners). Outside dentistry Michael enjoys all sports and is a keen supporter of Newcastle United and Ulster Rugby. He also enjoys cycling to keep fit and enjoying family time with his wife and three boys.

Michaella Pitt

Michaella has been dental nursing since 2011 and at Arden House since 2018. She is a very hardworking and confident member of the nursing team and popular with staff and patients. Michaella has also now qualified as a Sedation Nurse and ably assists Tom Lees during our sedation clinics. Michaella's calm and friendly manner really helps calm those patients who are particularly nervous or anxious.

Rosie Preece

Sarah Farrier

Sarah bought Arden House in September 2014 and brings wide-ranging skill and experience to our patients, including Implant dentistry, Smile design and non-surgical Facial Aesthetics. Sarah qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2001. Following her dental qualification, Sarah studied further to achieve her MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons England, an MPhil (in Digital Radiography) and, at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, she was awarded their Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. Sarah has worked in other leading private practices in Cardiff and Cheltenham before the purchase opportunity of Arden House presented. Sarah continues to invest in Arden House to provide treatments, services and opportunities of the highest level. She has worked in various hospital settings, gaining experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry and has worked as a lecturer at Cardiff University. Her husband's work brought her to Cheltenham in 2006. Sarah most recently held the post of Locum Restorative Consultant for the Gloucestershire NHS Trust, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team treating oncology patients. She held this post for 2 years alongside running and working in Arden House. It was a thoroughly rewarding role and enabled Sarah to use her experience to help treat the most difficult of cases. She has also published several papers in a variety of journals. Sarah has a particular interest in Implant and Cosmetic dentistry; giving patients the confidence to smile. She is passionate about treating each patient as a whole and all the time being mindful of maintaining optimum health with minimal tooth destruction. Sarah is also passionate about responsible treatment in facial aesthetics and leads Face at Arden House. Carried out carefully and sympathetically treatment can be of huge benefit and positively affect how patients feel about themselves. Alongside her experience as a dentist, her knowledge and appreciation for facial anatomy, understanding patient care, she is trusted to recommend and treat what is "right", lending perfectly to her carrying out dermal filler and anti-wrinkle treatments. In line with these principles she is a certified user of the Inman Aligner and ClearSmile Aligners which comfortably and quickly move teeth to a better position, straightening teeth. Alongside realistic tooth coloured fillings, Cerec technology and placing Astra Tech implants she can give patients the smiles they dream of. Digital Smile Design is also something Sarah uses to plan and demonstrate to you what might just be possible! Sarah is also passionate about responsible treatment in facial aesthetics and leads Face at Arden House. Carried out carefully and sympathetically treatment can be of huge benefit and positively affect how patients feel about themselves. As Vice -Chair of the Gloucestershire Independent Dentists she supports the continuing professional education of local dentists and support staff by helping to arrange the provision of high calibre international speakers and ensure essential training is catered for. Outside work, Arden House supports a number of local charities and ventures. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and can often be seen running with their dog Scruffy. A keen sportswoman, playing netball in the county league, supporting her sporty children, she also loves to cook and entertain.

Sophie Vallender

At Arden House she is responsible for making sure patients and staff are happy and safe and ensuring we comply with all the regulations that govern dentistry. In her spare time, Vicki enjoys being Mum to her 2 children, supporting them with their various sporting interests, walking the dog, attending the gym and baking - she makes a lovely pavlova!
