Lisa brings over 25 years of experience working in family-owned enterprises helping senior leaders solve problems and get things done. Her kind and thoughtful approach is felt in how she always puts people first as she finds creative ways to simplify and execute business operational needs.
Lisa received her B.A. in Business Management, graduating with honors. Over the years, Lisa developed strong project management, communication, and organizational skills and enjoys the challenge of a small office, wearing multiple hats.
At Ownership Advisors, Lisa helps manage the office and assists our team and company founder to maintain a high standard of service and customer care.
Lisa loves to help people and volunteers her free time to comfort friends and family facing health challenges. She enjoys international travel, time at the beach and being with family, especially her dad, nieces and nephew.
Marla brings a servant heart and financial wisdom to Ownership Advisors, having served very affluent families in North East Ohio for over twenty years. Starting as a CPA in the tax department of Arthur Andersen, Marla was soon asked to join the Matrix Essentials company where she assisted in financial and tax matters and eventually was part of the creation of their family office. After 10 years of service, Marla left to form her own consulting firm where she continues to serve several prominent families. Marla joined the Ownership Advisors team to assist in the analysis and review process for our insurance and family wealth planning clients.
Marla and her husband live in Hudson Ohio with their two college age children. Their large, extended family is the centerpiece of their life especially over big, Italian Sunday dinners. In addition to family, Marla enjoys being outdoors (Hudson Springs Park is a favorite), home improvement projects and getting together with friends.

With over 25 years of experience serving the unique financial needs of high-net worth families, Pam is known for her creativity and get it done spirit. Pam loves to help people find the best and most tax efficient ways to protect and transfer their wealth. Starting as an agent in 1990, Pam learned the essentials of marketing and building solid protection plans and understands the importance of ongoing service to ensure the sustainability of those plans. With her strong technical background, she joined a successful advisory firm in Ohio where for the next ten years she honed her skills in case design, underwriting and analyzing complex estate and financial plans. Pam is a long-time member of the M Financial community where she is viewed as thought leader and valued expert.
At Ownership Advisors Pam is responsible for providing advanced case design analysis, financial and medical underwriting and adds value with her extensive knowledge in operations, strategic planning, and compliance.
Pam earned her B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Akron and is securities 7, 66, and 24 licensed as well as insurance licensed.
Pam loves college football and when not cheering for Ohio State, she enjoys travel with her husband and swimming, but her favorite time is hanging out with family.

As CEO and founder of Ownership Advisors, Richard brings over 30 years of experience in counseling successful families to navigate through difficult life transitions. Early in his career, Richard became fascinated about how families of wealth with access to the best and brightest advisors could still experience a 90% failure rate within three generations. Over the years, much of his work was aimed at studying the habits of the outliers that beat the odds. He is considered a thought leader in developing customized processes to help families better understand the impact of money on family, community and important relationships. Richard is the creator of the Probate Dress Rehearsal™, a detailed and practical approach to helping spouses gain clarity and alignment around wealth.
Richard has authored many articles on business succession and charitable estate planning. In addition to counseling his own clients, Richard successfully engineered his own exit strategy after more than 10 years with a prominent local family held business. Richard and his wife Gail live in Lakewood Ohio where they enjoy cooking and old movies and learning how to be the best grandparents. Richard loves to read and has a hard time throwing out old books who he considers his friends and mentors. He enjoys keeping active with yoga, biking and running. Richard and his wife have been long term members of Bay Presbyterian Church where they both serve as elders and deacons.
