Danny Kessler - CEO

Danny has been a Managing Partner of the Met Group since 2002. He has been a central figure in the growth of the Met Group, with a special focus on new business development. Before joining Met Group, he worked for Dow Jones, where he led sales operations in EMEA, and for Hewlett Packard. He also served on the board of the Jewish Chronicle for the maximum term of six years, where he oversaw the modernisation of the newspaper and its evolution into digital media. He has a first class honours degree in Business from Manchester Metropolitan University and sits on the board of a number of other financial services JV's. Danny is a passionate advocate of the Group's belief in being "focused on what matters".

Michael Jacobs - CEO

Michael co-founded the Met Group in 2002 and is a Managing Partner. He has been a central figure in the rise of Met Traders, particularly its market making services and its graduate training programme, and in building relationships with exchanges and institutional clients. His financial career began as a trader on the floor at LIFFE, being one of the largest volume traders on the exchange. When the exchange went screen-based he continued to trade, primarily Euribor clearing through the Kyte Group . Today he trades a wide range of futures products while helping to oversee the group's facilities provision to other traders. His broader business perspective comes from a commercial life that began in the licensed merchandise industry, where his last act was to sell the company he started and built into a major player.

Steven Gordon - CEO

Steven co-founded the Met Group in 2002 and is a Managing Partner. He oversees the operation of Met Traders, the proprietary trading arm of the Group, and in particular all its market making activities. As a start-up Steven's trading strategies and the relationships he built with exchanges were central to its growth. In 2003 he set up Met Traders' graduate training programme, which he continues to lead today. He is still an active trader, specialising in STIRS and energy products. Before the launch of the Met Group, Steven worked for the Kyte Group where he traded on the LIFFE floor from 1994 to 1999. When trading migrated to screens, Steven became one of the leading STIR traders and featured regularly in LIFFE's highest global volumes tables. Steven has a BA in Economics from Manchester University.
