Donald Traver, MD, grew up in southern New York before earning his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing his residency in Norfolk, VA at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughter, he moved to Anchorage, AK to serve in the United States Air Force. He arrived in Colorado in 2011 with his wife, a Colorado native. He has two children and enjoys running, hiking, skiing and spending time with his family. He joined Pediatrics 5280 in June of 2013 and enjoys seeing patients at the Castle Rock office.

Natalie Vona, PhD, is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in evaluating and treating children, adolescents, and their families. She grew up in Buffalo, NY, earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the State of New York at Oswego, and her Masters of Arts and Doctoral Degrees in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She completed her APA-approved Pre-doctoral Internship and Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Vona also completed a Pre-doctoral training at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital.
Dr. Vona is married with four children and loves to exercise, play tennis, go to music concerts, and travel with her family. She loves being a psychologist, and is excited to work closely with the Pediatrics 5280 team, and use her skills to attend to the emotional, behavioral, and social needs of patients.
Jennifer Tiehen, MD, completed her pediatric training at Children's Hospital Colorado and joined Pediatrics 5280 in August 2012. She grew up in St. Louis, MO and received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Saint Louis University. She and her husband Andy moved to Colorado in 2009 and have 3 boys. She enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Tiehen is the best! Always pragmatic in her recommendations and truly listens to our concerns. Our child loves her!
Liesl G. Young, MD, joined Pediatrics 5280 in 2007. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 1997 and completed her pediatric training at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri in 2000. Prior to joining Pediatrics 5280, she worked at The Children's Hospital Urgent Care in Aurora, CO and had a private practice in Castle Rock, CO. Dr. Young is married with two children and enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and music. Dr. Young hopes that a visit with her will feel more like visiting a friend than a doctor.
Colorado native Martha C. Middlemist, MD, graduated from the University of Denver and attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completing her pediatric training at Denver's Children's Hospital. Since 2005 she has served as the legislative chair for the Colorado chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is actively involved with the AAP on a national level. Married with two children, Dr. Middlemist enjoys most outdoor activities, watching professional sports, and traveling.
Dr. Middlemist has been our pediatrician for 23 years. Now that our youngest is about to 'graduate' to adult care, we reminisce about the many years of outstanding care our children received. She has always been kind, knowledgeable, open and honest and we could not have asked for better. We will miss her and this practice (all the providers we have seen over the years have been great).

Sarah Dacey, MD, graduated from Northwestern University and earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She completed her residency at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, where she also served as chief resident. She moved to Colorado in 2010 and practiced in Castle Rock for 2 years before joining Pediatrics 5280 in June 2013. Dr. Dacey is married to an ophthalmologist, and they welcomed a son in October 2012. Dr. Dacey and her family enjoy skiing, hiking and traveling.

Stacy Parra, MD, grew up in Omaha, Nebraska before moving to St. Louis to earn her medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. She moved to Colorado in 2013 and completed her pediatric training at Children's Hospital Colorado. She joined Pediatrics 5280 in August 2016. She and her husband enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking and being outdoors, reading, traveling and trying to keep up with their chocolate lab, Charlie. She is thrilled to be part of Pediatrics 5280 and practicing medicine in beautiful Colorado.
