Ian Jackson

With a Master's in Psychology from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, a Master's in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and 20+ years creating and facilitating programs in team-building, diversity, inclusion & belonging, Ian brings a unique approach to learning, growth and change. Over the past decade he has delivered in-person, online, and hybrid programs to Harvard's Division of Continuing Education's worldwide population of students and staff. As an executive coach and consultant, he works with clients to build an inclusive workplace of authentic communication and community. Ian creates opportunities for the development of group dynamics through retreats, workshops, and ongoing team work. He publishes a weekly blog showcasing ideas that anyone can use to create authentic community in their workplace, regardless of their role. Past clients include ButcherBox, LeadvantEDGE, the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Reservoir Church, and Fidelity Investments. Ian and his wife Angel have three children, a dog, two cats, and nine chickens. Ian loves to spend time outside, and challenges himself to walk 1,000 miles each year. In his ‘spare time,' Ian leads online writing and podcasting courses for middle and high schoolers, and is also the writer and host of the original story podcast for kids, Tales from the Moosiverse, which inspires and invites children to create their own stories.
