John Whitehead is responsible for the establishment and implementation of all company policies as well as overseeing all areas of operation including sales and personnel management. John Whitehead and his wife Bonnie met at age 14. They both grew up and attended school in South Florida. Together, they started J.W. Companies in their garage in 1988. Since that beginning, because of the efforts of the amazing people that work with them and the blessings of the Lord, they have seen J.W. Companies grow into an industry leader in South Florida. Though the companies have evolved and changed since that inception, the vision and mission have remained the same. J.W. Companies is committed to providing, dependable service with quality and integrity. John is proudest of the fact that the average person working here has been here 15 years.
VP/Administrator - Bonnie Whitehead directs and oversees all aspects of accounting as well as the human resources needs of the companies and their respective employees. Bonnie's abilities to manage the company's finances have been a major reason for the financial strength and credit worthiness we enjoy.
Fire Sprinkler Manager - Todd Yates is a NICET Level IV Design Technician who has been with J.W. Fire Sprinkler, Inc. for 20years. Todd has stepped in whenever and wherever needed. He is well versed in the area of project management. His organizational skills and team building approach to project management have been instrumental to our continued growth.
Fire Alarm Manager - Daren Simcox has been with J. W. Fire Sprinkler, Inc. since 2003. He was hired as a fire sprinkler installer and quickly rose to the position of Service Manager. His efforts have allowed J.W. Fire Sprinkler, Inc. to increase its service and inspection departments and afforded us the ability to launch J.W. Fire and Security, LLC. Which through his personable approach, ability and enthusiasm has seen remarkable growth.
Office Manager - Courtney Southworth started with J. W. Fire Sprinkler, Inc. as a high school student. After receiving her degree in finance from Florida State University, she returned to bring her knowledge and skills to the accounting office of J.W. Fire Sprinkler, Inc. Her duties include payroll, job costing, service and inspections as well as accounts receivable. Her abilities and attitude are essential to our continued growth and success.
Personnel - JW Companies, has been blessed to employee the finest personnel in the State of Florida. It is through their effort that we have been able to continue to have success. Each of them is worthy of mention, but one stands out above all the rest. Mike Dempsey has been with us for over 20 years and has at times served as an installer, a superintendent, an inspector and wherever else he has been asked to serve. His ability, expertise and attitude embody what we seek in all our personnel field or otherwise. Mike is capable of performing the most complex installations and has been involved in many if not all of our most important projects to date.
