Step 2-In the Dark: In this step, the Microgreens are grown in a dark humid environment. Part A: If the seeds are Beet seed size or larger, put a tray on top of the seeds with a 5# weight (soup cans) in the tray. This applies pressure to the seeds making them work harder to sprout. After the seeds have sprouted, remove the weight and inverted tray and continue with Part B. Part B To create a humid environment, put the Microgreens in a bag or put an inverted tray over the growing tray. Mist the seeds with water every morning and night. Continue to grow them in the dark humid environment until they are approximately 1.5 inches tall. The dark helps establish the height of the plant...
