Dr. Zil Patel is a board-certified general dentist. Originally from Louisville, KY, Dr. Patel pursued her dental degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She later brought her passion for dentistry and heart of service from Kentucky to the DFW area! She continues to focus on providing excellent care for her patients and takes many continuing education courses to stay updated with the evolving world of dentistry. Dr. Patel was born and raised in India until the age of 11. She came to the United States to fulfill her dream of serving as a Doctor. A dream that she shared with her 6th-grade teacher speaking a few broken words of English. She faced many obstacles in the journey including learning a new language, new etiquettes, and much more. She owes a lot of who she is to her 6th-grade teacher, who worked tirelessly to assimilate her to the new world. Dr. Patel's perseverance and hard work finally paid off when her 6th-grade teacher came to watch her graduate as "Dr. Zil Patel." Outside of the office, Dr. Patel is happily married to her college sweetheart. She enjoys spending time with her husband, playing board games, cooking, and baking.
