PINNACLE SECURITY ACCESS SOLUTIONS - Key Persons
Craig has over 25 years of experience in contract and cutting-edge electronic security applications and will serve as Managing Partner and Operations Specialist for HOA and Condo Associations in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. His past experiences include executive positions with Sarasota's largest homeowner association and condominium security company (ALERT Protective Services) and the world's largest security providers, with a specialty in developing combined solutions designed to reduce security risks while meeting budget requirements.
Before forming Pinnacle Security Access Solutions, he served four years as a VP and Equity Partner for Pinnacle Community Association Management, five years as a Managing Partner in Sarasota-based ALERT Protective Services, and nine years as President for Securitas Security USA. As Regional President, he managed a $250 million region with over 7,500 employees. Before Pinnacle SAS, Mr. Smith served as Director of Solutions Development for G4S Secure Solutions, Americas, where he was responsible for developing organic growth within all technology products and services across the U.S. for the largest security provider in the world. He specializes in manpower + technology combined services, software support, data analytics, security assessments, access control systems, video management platforms, and integrated strategies.
Craig earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and his MBA from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. He is a member of the West Florida Chapter of the Community Association Institute, where he holds the "Certified Manager of Community Association" designation.
As of June 1, 2022, Jason Hamilton and Craig Smith have partnered again to create a new and innovative Security Access Control company, Pinnacle Security Access Solutions. As a Managing Partner in the company, Jason's primary role is the management and oversight of all Pinnacle SAS operations, which includes security, patrol, and consulting services. Jason is a past Certified Protection Professional (CPP™), which meant Board Certification in Security Management by ASIS International, the world's largest organization with over 35,000 members worldwide.
Prior to creating Pinnacle SAS with Mr. Smith, Jason served as Chief Financial Officer for Pinnacle Community Association Management, a firm he organized in 2017 and helped build from 3 to over 90 clients starting in 2017. Immediately prior, he was the President & Chief Operating Officer of Sarasota's largest homeowner association and condominium security firm, ALERT Protective Services. He has over 25 years of experience in Security, Loss Prevention, and Risk Management. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin and his MBA from the University of South Florida. He is a board member and Treasurer for the West Florida Chapter of the Community Association Institute and a Licensed Community Association Manager.
